’So Many Feelings’ is a sunshine-filled anthem produced by Spains’ Tête De La Course and written and performed by Senegalese-British, Mexican-born IDA fLO.

Barcelona producer and Poetry In Motion owner Tête De La Course’s sounds range from deep house to afro and have seen him release on the likes of Defected and Snatch! Records. IDA fLO—who has previously worked with the likes of CASSIMM and Sebb Junior— teams up with Tête De La Course on ’So Many Feelings’, a classically-styled feel-good disco house fist-pumper.

Juicy kicks and thick claps support a jazzy electric piano chord progression in the intro before an elasticated, funked-up bassline slams into play. Guitar licks scratch the surface and enhance the groove before IDA fLO’s powerful yet restrained delivery glides in. A calm breakdown breather sets us up for the exquisite release of the chorus and fLO’s soaring ad-libs. All that’s needed to top the track off are some joyous disco strings, and the result is pure party fuel.

“It's a lighthearted, but real reflection on accepting the full range of emotions we can experience in our lives” says IDA fLO. “The song was inspired by my family who used the phrase “so many feelings” to acknowledge the comical messiness of life.”
