Theres a sense of emotion running throughout Music Rises Up with its deep piano chords instantly pulling on the heart strings, rhythmically rolling snares and a punchy kick combine perfectly with glistening pads to add to a wholly magical feel to this vibe. We obviously cant forget Stee Downes vocals which have transformed so many huge tracks over the past few years, Lovebirds Want You In My Soul and Audiojacks Tunnel Vision to name but a few. Sofi De La Torre has a special charm, the sound of her voice inspires millions of thoughts and melodies and that was no exception for our star team composed by Andre Crom and Chi Thanh, a now steady force conquering the scene both with their original work and always hunting for fresh talent such as hers for their exciting dancefloor remakes. The beautiful and incredibly talented Spanish singer now living in berlin was kind enough to let our crew express their own interpretation of "Vermillion" (her new Single coming out in June) and as always, they turned it into another dancefloor essential full of warmth and deep feelings.

The song builds up with vibe synth stabs and horns that create a perfect atmosphere for the sweet vocals while a groovy bassline and housy drums add the perfect dance factor to the whole thing, all constructed with finesse and great taste. A true masterpiece that will sure ring in everyone's ears for a long time.

Andre Crom and Chi Thanh have already produced new big tunes with Sofi, which will be released also very soon!

Austrian duo Wild Culture have fast become staples of the Kittball imprint since their first release back in 2012. Alongside three original EPs titled ‘Faith’, ‘This Moment’ and ‘Fade’, the twosome have also been tapped to remix label founders Tube & Berger’s seminal hit ‘Lovebreak’, not to mention having their own work remixed earlier this year by the likes of Nico Pusch, David Jach and Purple Disco Machine.  

Kick-starting their fourth original release on Kittball; dark and brooding, the beefy first track of the release titled ‘The TIDE’ takes no prisoners as it lays down a mean and throbbing low end, albeit the Austrian duo still incorporate a heavy dosage of funk courtesy of plucky guitar work and jittery keys. 
‘With YOU’ boasts rumbling kicks, heady vocals and subterranean synths that collectively form a multi-layered and enriching number topped with mind-bending atmospherics that ebb hypnotically throughout.

"Cassia" is delightful introduction to the largely unheralded talent of  Icarus  – and when you're making music this sun-kissed, the gags practically write themselves. Carefree scattering of instrumentation and a refreshingly tropical vibe are reminiscent of Axel Boman's balmiest moments, only propelled by a much more naked dancefloor drive. When the seesawing piano lead collides with the backing claps around the halfway mark, the result is borderline dazzling.

As a neat bonus, this one arrives via a resurged FFRR: a behemoth of a label with too many highlights in their catalogue to mention (although especial mention goes to somehow releasing both Orbital and The Watts Prophets in the same calendar year). A testament to their keen ear for fresh talent, and commitment to diversity, even after all these years.
