Kim has been touring discotheques as a clubber since before most of us ever heard a techno beat. She was a regular dancer at Cherry Moon, Fuse, P3P, Food, and Silo to name a few classic Belgian clubs and party concepts. She smoothly and slowly observed how things flow in clubbing land, and after all those years she got behind the decks (decks that her husband G. gave her as a present!) and became an excellent, very precise deejay with a selection full of deep, floaty techno grooves and sometimes organic ambient excursions. Her 10 hour-long “More is More” mix she recorded as a live stream (accompanied with visuals by G.) during the pandemic is already a (local?) classic mix that has often been put on at afters-without-turntables. So while this mix is definitely shorter, it’s even better in its own way! Kim has also been helped us with the Basic Moves online communication and now sends out the newsletter, we secretly call her kim.com.

SYN(ARDOR)


DJ from Okinawa Prefecture. He spent his 20s in Tokyo, experiencing various parties throughout the city as a DJ, and returned to Okinawa in 2011.

After holding a party at Koza "OTOBOLA", a town of music and the US military, he is currently organizing "ARDOR" at Naha's Sakurazaka deep sea spot "g".

He has deepened his friendships with Japanese DJs, including local DJs in Okinawa, and overseas artists, and is currently active in a freaky and energetic manner mainly based on his experiences.


沖縄県出身/DJ。20代を東京で過ごしDJとして都内各所様々なPartyを体験し、2011年に沖縄へ戻る。
音楽と米軍の街コザ"OTOBOLA”でパーティーを開催した後、現在は那覇の桜坂深海スポット”g”にて『ARDOR』の主催。
沖縄のローカルDJから内地または海外アーティスとも親交を深め、主にその体験を基としフリーキーかつ精力的に活動中。
