Jim Serediak has been writing songs and guitar instrumentals since receiving his first guitar at age eleven.
Self taught until his early twenties, Jim's compositional and instrumental skills took on a more schooled outlook with studies in the music program at what is now known as MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. It was during this period of study that Jim pursued his interest in classical guitar and electro acoustic music as well, and also began cultivating a public interest in his music through appearances at folk festivals, on radio and through concert performances. These include The Edmonton Folk Festival, The North Country Fair, The Leonard Cohen Conference, The Full Moon Folk Club, The Nickelodeon Folk Club, Festival Place Patio Series, features on national CBC Radio and CKUA Radio amongst many others.

PENGUIN EGGS: In reference to Jim's recordings --- "This is a musical love letter to the Canadian landscape. The atmospheric songs paint watercolours of rural Canada, with a few detours into the cities."

LEGACY MAGAZINE: In regard to the release of "The Transcendent Sky", Ron Chalmers writes --- "It's an album to lift your spirits and clear your mind on a sunny afternoon or star-filled night."

SUNDAY, DEC. 1, 2PM: 'ANGELS BEHOLD' CD RELEASE EVENT IN EDMONTON, ALBERTA AT 'THE CONFECTIONERY' 10985-127STR. (between 109A and 110 ave. across the street from the Westmount Community Hall). JIM WILL BE JOINED BY JAMIE PHILP AND JOHN TOWILL TO PERFORM SONGS FROM THE RELEASE AND TO VISIT WITH FANS AND SUPPORTERS THEREAFTER.

SUNDAY, FEB. 23, 10 AM and 11:30 AM: JIM APPEARS AS GUEST ARTIST AT THE CENTRE FOR SPIRITUAL LIVING IN EDMONTON.

SATURDAY, MARCH 22, 7;30 PM: JIM AND BANDMATE JAMIE PHILP PERFORM AT THE NICKELODIAN FOLK CLUB IN CALGARY.

Vendue is an Indo-American band. Vendue visited his Canadian concerts in 2013 and another concert would be held at Dubai. Vendue is releasing three new albums this march,2014. Vendue has invited five new members for these albums which are from the europe's best radio and music artist Vendue is the founder of M.G universal records. Vendue ranks 9th on beat.dj.
