DJ et DA au RED CLUB, Jungle The Cat est actif depuis une dizaine d'années à Tours. Cocréateur des anciennes  soirées Asphalte et résident des feues Geisterland, il est un ancien teufeur apprivoisé par le clubbing. Depuis 2019, il gère la programmation du RED CLUB à Tours, seul club underground de la Région Centre-Val de Loire. Initialement habitué des sets techno rapide et groovy à la sauce UK et acid, il a récemment en 2024 décidé d’effectuer un virage vers la mental et groove techno. Il puise ses inspirations dans un monde oldschool de raveur, aux antipodes de la musique industrielle. Entre basslines percutantes, drums qui cavalent, et thèmes hétérogènes, ses DJ sets sont uniques et reconnaissables. C’est dans les détails sonores et sa technique qu’il entretient le contact avec l’audience.

Starting off producing electronic music in 2007, Modek has come a long way. Heavily inspired by the hard hitting electro of those days (Ed Banger, BNR, …), he started producing his own music that soon got picked up by fans and DJs across the globe.

Inspired by many different genres and allergic to copycats, Modek is always searching for that fresh beat and loves to push out tracks that merge elements from different genres into that signature sound he has claimed over the years. This sound has attracted the attention of many big names in the scene, resulting in remixes for respected artists. The most recent remixes being the one for Zombie Nation's latest album on Turbo Recordings and his remix for Etienne de Crécy.

In January 2012, Modek released his first EP "Willow/Dust" on Lektroluv Records, which took the electro charts by storm. Since then, 4 more EPs got put out by the highly acclaimed electro label. The latest release being the widely supported "Haunt EP", following up on the huge "Up With Me" package that includes remixes by top guns like Shinichi Osawa, Don Rimini, John Roman and autoKratz.

Today, Modek is getting massive support from Moby, Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, Tiga, Porter Robinson, Zombie Nation, Proxy, Digitalism, Felix Cartal, D.I.M., Don Rimini, … and the list goes on and on.

Introduced to DJing at a very young age by his father, who is also a DJ, he spent over ten yearsexploring turntables and discovering a wide range of musical styles.This long journey helped him develop a sharp ear and strong musical culture, eventuallyleading him to embrace techno, as well as genres like break and ghettotech.In 2023, he took things a step further by diving into music production. A prolific studio artist,he has already created over 200 tracks — the result of years of listening to a rich variety ofsounds and genres.His productions, raw and hybrid, quickly caught the attention of labels he deeply admires,such as MAMA TOLD YA and PLAY LABS.Constantly evolving, Dr Breinnerr is crafting a unique sonic universe: a blend of energy,precision, and passion that reflects his journey and vision.
