This debut compilation delivers meditative dance music with a rough edge: psychedelic dance floor killers that balances a certain level of roughness with introspective depth. Hypnotic grooves, stripped-down percussion and immersive sound design converge to form a new vision of psychedelic dance music.

 mr. harmless, is a Brazilian-born DJ and producer who has been a fixture on the underground dance scenes of Ireland and Berlin for years. It was in Berlin that he founded Harmless Records, an independent label dedicated to preserving the purest and most noble spirit of underground music.

With roots in trance, mr. harmless takes a new direction in this mix, exploring a soundscape of straight kick drums, tribal rhythms, hypnotic textures, and horror-inspired atmospheres. It’s a blend that perfectly captures his approach to DJing as a space for creative experimentation and pure enjoyment.

“The Evil Inside” is a ritual of inner transmutation. It begins in silence, where a hopeful arpeggio and a confessional voice expose the raw truth within: “there’s something inside me I need to heal.” From that vulnerable spark, the rhythm in B♭ minor awakens—a pulse at 160 BPM that beats like a heart learning to forgive itself.

The first section holds to the shadows, building tension through subtle motion and the steady breath of bass and atmosphere. Then, as the harmonies unfold the energy turns luminous, as if the darkness itself is melting into gold. Each progression feels like a step deeper into self-acceptance, where the evil ceases to be a curse and becomes a sacred force.

Neither violent nor soft, “The Evil Inside” exists in the threshold between twilight and dawn—a sonic purification that transforms inner chaos into radiant balance.
