After being inspired by all the wonderful compositions I've heard on Maj 7, I ran to my computer and began to write this song. It's a bit of a woodland journey that ends up in funksville (why do we always wind up here?!).

Gear used: Reaper, Digits (chords, swells, sound fx, leads), FM8 (bass, arp synth, tuned percussion, flutes and rattles), Slam VST (synth drums), Kontakt (electric piano), Superior Drummer 2 (realish drums), various fx odds and ends.

Louis Gorenfeld is a #digitalfusion artist from San Francisco, CA specializing in hyperactive videogamic funk grooves and original sound design. He has been tracking jams since 1992, and continues the tradition to this day. He is also the author of the Digits VST phase distortion synthesizer.
