It's the rackmount version of Korg's popular 80s synth, the Korg DW-8000. It's a mixture of digital and analog (oscillators are digital, but the filters are analog). There are 16 different waves to choose from, rather than the typical pulse-saw-tri-sine waves that are present in many synthesizers. It has two poly modes and two unison modes for leads.

a piece heavily inspired by video game music of the late 90s and early 2000s. this is my first time trying something in this style to this extent, so enjoy :)

Louis Gorenfeld is a #digitalfusion artist from San Francisco, CA specializing in hyperactive videogamic funk grooves and original sound design. He has been tracking jams since 1992, and continues the tradition to this day. He is also the author of the Digits VST phase distortion synthesizer.
