Tried a little nod to The Disko Starz, Renee, Ice Cream, Dawood Helmandi, Robbin Music, Masques III and a few other classic hit makers. 

Around Spring of 2025, started looking for better samples with a nice vibey 2 chord change and some call and response to even out the 4 Bar loops, along with a natural pitch up when increasing the BPM, some minimal delay and reverb, and of course SIMPLE drums.. I try to capture the hard hitting, beat heavy drum feel of Jackin' House and UKG on my main project, but I noticed that the producers listed above use some lowkey loops or samples that aren't too heavy on the forefront of the sound. I also tried, for once (against my 15+ yrs DJ experience...) an off time turnaround. I hear this a lot in The Disko StarZ and Robbin Music especially, and it always confused me, especially since it's harder to mix and predict the beat shift on the shorter bars while DJing.  But I finally caught a feel for it and gave it a shot.

Is this cut good enough to become a classic? who the hell knows. I sure as hell feel good with it though. It ain't no 'Sboulouf' but it's honest work, lmao.

I am a 21 year old disco house music producer from Sugar Land, Texas, with autism and Type 1 Diabetes. I also enjoy trance, rave, and even more electronic genres. Stage name: DJ Supernick. Only 1/6 of Disko Sunz. I am also a history savvy and also the kind of person who you want to meet in real life. My all-time favorite disco house duo is THE DISKO STARZ. It wouldn’t have been possible without the DISCOVERY of Daft Punk, thanks to their hit song “Get Lucky”, it made me wonder about how their other music sounded like. So I heard their other albums, and I fell in love with the French touch sound. I later discovered Crydamoure and Roulé thanks to alexdaftpunk91 (a now-retired YouTube girl who posted a bunch of French touch, electro, synthpop, and nu disco songs from the MySpace and SoundCloud eras between 2007-2013). On August 11, 2023, I discovered the Disko Starz thanks to my interest in Poka’s music. The song “Knockout” brought me to a phase of listening to their other songs and that’s why I’m in Soundcloud.
