Bio:

Immersed in the synth-pop and electronica of the Eighties growing up in southern England, State Azure (b. 1972) found early inspiration in Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis. Deconstructing their tracks ignited his passion, leading him to develop a foundational understanding of electronic music theory, composition and production entirely by ear and experimentation.

He honed his skills as a keyboardist and producer within live bands before venturing into solo ambient/experimental territory. This self-taught journey fostered a deeply improvisational and emotional approach, free from the confines of formal training.

State Azure's sonic world is further shaped by influences beyond music, drawing heavily from science fiction, cosmology, physics, and technology.

Seizing the opportunity presented by the burgeoning online music scene, he launched the State Azure project to connect directly with listeners, debuting with the album 'Outlines' in December 2011.

Extracorpus comes from the hand of Marqués, musician and dj native of Bigastro (Alicante) and known thanks to the close relationship with the Metrodanceclub room, having been resident DJ in recent years and also of acting in the best rooms of electronic music the Levant region.

The main purpose with the creation of Extracorpus is very clear, share a experimental music to all people who want to enjoy moments of relaxation and tranquility, as well as being ideal and highly recommended sessions to chill-out environments or spaces natural.

Extracorpus nace de la mano de Marqués, músico y dj natal de Bigastro (Alicante) y conocido gracias a la estrecha vinculación mantenida con la sala Metrodanceclub, habiendo sido dj residente durante los últimos años y además de haber actuado en las mejores salas de música electrónica de la zona levantina.

El propósito principal con la creación de Extracorpus es muy claro, acercar y compartir un género de música experimental a todas las personas que deseen disfrutar de momentos de relajación y tranquilidad, además de ser sesiones ideales y muy recomendables para entornos como chill-out o espacios naturales. 

Enfundado en la piel de Extracorpus, Marqués experimenta la metamorfosis de su alter ego, el cual le permite manifestar todo un conjunto de estímulos sensoriales en los que pretende destacar por encima de todo un halo de espiritualidad.

Proyectado en una imagen misteriosa, trata de esta manera de poder transmitir así el conocimiento adquirido fruto de las experiencias vividas a lo largo de su trayectoria profesional y personal, aplicándolas en un formato espíritu-musical y de conexión entre la ciencia y el alma e integrado en un concepto artístico, desea así difundir un mensaje de paz y armonía que nos permita conectar con nuestro yo interior y poder viajar al mundo no circunscrito.

Con este nuevo proyecto que inicia, reflejará de forma creativa su faceta más íntima en su ámbito arcano. 

ABOUT US:
E-Phunx is founded in 2008 by Carsten Becker starting with his first release D.O.B.E.R.M.A.N. 
Step by Step E-Phunx developed with further releases and in 2010 starts its own successful partys at different locations around the Ruhr-Area .
In 2011 JayVee gets part of it and recently in 2012 the third core member, Mark Birdage, joined the label. 

Today E-Phunx is a group of several artists and is proud to present a wide spectrum of musicians from dj´s to producers. The label is focussed on electronic dance music from House to Tech-House and Techno.
