With most DJ’s barely getting their teeth in to 2014 yet, Rotterdam based composer and producer Eelke Kleijn is already back teasing more huge tracks. Set for release on Feb. 24 on Eskimo Recordings are two brand new originals. ‘Lovely Sweet Divine’ is a slice of space disco heaven. This otherworldly tune is drenched in expansive reverb, disco rhythms and infectious arpeggiated basslines.

Typically brooding with an uplifting inflection, 'A Tale Of Two Lovers' is Eelke at the top of his game – only what we have come to expect from recent months. Combining fluid violins, hang drums and his typical bass rumble it’s a track from someone so adept at production they have the confidence and freedom to play around with styles in the 7-minute runtime.

People get very excited when a new Robert Babicz production lands, and when the music sounds like this, its no wonder why...

Roberts first release on his own imprint for a while packs a mighty punch and ticks all of the boxes, so lets get to the music.

'Stimulate' is a beautiful melancholic slab of musical deepness, showing Roberts emotional side, and even packs a saxophone in there, giving the track a sultry feel. Tasty!

Next up is 'Unity Of Kissing' and pulls at the heartstrings with its impassioned heartfelt depth, while remaining a dance floor moment.

'Mindset' is a hypnotic workout with its subtleties bringing its strength. An elegant breakdown follows full of warmth.

The final original track is 'Seeking For The Horizon'. Analog deepness with mysterious layers is the way forward here. Giving the package a cool musical balance and twist.

Jerome Isma-Ae & Alastor remix 'Stimulate' and take us firml y to peak time melodic mayhem, as this punchy number works its magic!

And rounding off this fine release, another remix of 'Stimulate', this time Tvardovsky & Alex Kaspersky take us deep and deadly, with hypnotic overtones and cool growls, while cascading melodics integrate superbly.

"Wissenwertes" zum Wort >SEIFENBLASE<?!

Eine Seifenblase ist ein dünner Film Seifenwasser, der eine hohle Kugel mit schillernder Oberfläche formt. Sie bleibt gewöhnlich nur für wenige Momente stabil und reagiert empfindlich auf die Berührung mit festen Objekten.

Etwa 5.000 Jahre ist es her, seit die Sumerer das Sieden von Seife erfanden. Als Nebenprodukt entstand damals natürlich auch die erste Seifenblase.

Wegen dieser leichten Vergänglichkeit wurde ,Seifenblase‘ zu einer Metapher für etwas, das zwar anziehend, aber dennoch inhalts- und gehaltlos ist. Dies spiegelt sich zum Beispiel in der Redewendung „Der Traum zerplatzte wie eine Seifenblase“ oder im Synonym ,Seifenblasenwirtschaft‘ für Bubble Economy.

In der Kunst wird spätestens seit dem Barock die Seifenblase durchgängig ikonographisch als ein Vanitassymbol benutzt und spiegelt sowohl die Schönheit als auch die Flüchtigkeit des menschlichen Lebens wider.

Seifenblasen lösen auf physikalische Weise komplexe räumliche Probleme in der Mathematik, da sie jederzeit die kleinste Oberfläche zwischen Punkten und Kanten bilden.

Extrawelt - Hail The Whale

The EP is about movements through different mediums, this one being about movements through walls of sound. So I've put a really simple beat structure on there with a maddeningly repetitive two note acid style riff to try and lull people into some sort of brain dead state before they hit the wall, and exit out the other side wondering what just happened. That's the idea anyway, a track of maximised contrasts, it works great in a club, maybe not so much of home listener, see what you think anyway!
