Schneeweiss V: a collaboration of neighbours. 

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Olivers heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhains best and most loved restaurants, is just around the corner. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail. 

Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners extensive background in Berlins club scene of the early days. Pairing striking award-winning interior design with a homely laid-back atmosphere, Schneeweiss welcomes everyone with open arms: Kiez locals and celebrities, students and businessmen, hipsters and families all can be found here, Oliver Koletzki among them. Thus, after many a late-night label dinner an idea slowly formed. Why not join forces and collaborate on a compilation that represents both, Oliver Koletzkis and Schneeweiss taste? Oliver Schories is neither a friend of dogmas nor an antagonist of reflection. He winks affectionately to his musical past with his fourth album, to - at the same time - bethink himself of his musical core. Accordingly profound and day-dreamfully rests "Relatively Definitely” in itself, without having any demand to be danceable.
Schories has allowed to let himself go and to listen into himself. In twelve tracks he tells about his experiences and allows a very deep view.
Who listens to music with the heart will understand what his ensouled basslines and oceans of melodies are telling.
He came down to rest solid as a rock and knows where he belongs to. 
And apparently he feels relatively well over there. How sweet, that he lets us listen so closely.

With over 25 years in the game, André Galluzzi can respectfully be awarded the ‘veteran’ badge of honour. A mark of experience and longevity for an artist who has, as they say, been there and done it all. Today however sees the German take on a new adventure, with his debut release for Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings.

As a DJ, André has held residencies at three of Germany and the world’s most influential Clubs - Tresor, Ostgut and Berghain. Been the driving force behind his own We Play Vinyl party. Managed his own Taksi (alongside Paul Brtschitsch) and Aras Record labels and featured his own music on such highly acclaimed imprints asCocoon, Cadenza, Ostgut Ton and Highgrade.

Back in 2001, having released his seminal mix compilation, 'Im Garten', André embarked on a new series of events that regularly saw him play intoxicating sets of up to 10-hours. The parties went by the name of
‘Submerge’ and those infamous Dj sets have inspired his beautiful brace for Ovum today.

The metronomic kick drum of the title track introduces us to its immersive groove, whilst bubbling and elasticated fx vie for our attention, adding a sublime swing to ‘Submerge’. On the flip, ‘Bold’, by name and nature, ups the swing ante with its fierce acidic melody, shimmering hats and rasping snare.

Coming on strong for this summer's season is Upon.You Records creative A&R mastermind Marco Resmann with a new and heavy duty four track single named Voyager that presents nothing but musical goodness to DJs and dancefloors worldwide.Being a world travelling voyager indeed the start start of this journey sees Marco Resmann searching for The Lost Drum, entering deep and fever'ish tech territories, following a path of spine-tingling jungle drums and finally reach an enticing climax primed through intense and expertly morphed futuristic synths and rolling glitches. This one's causing massive mayhem for a reason!With Glide the dark side of Techno is taking over, pleasing pumping peaktime crowds with heavyweight bassdrums, a rolling sawtooth synth line and eerie stabs moving through the stereo field whilst distinct claps provide an additional punch to this ever morphing weapon of mass mobilization. Entering the code to the Drifter Marco Resmann unlocks a more uplifting Tech banger with slightly dubbed out qualities. Imagine staggered layers of pads, a field recorded atmosphere and big organic basslines falling together in the right place, creating a mesmerizing stream of sonic events that takes you right into the sunset and back within a little more than 5 minutes playtime.Finally Viaticum provides more of a scientific, spaced out approach to late night electronic music with its highly defined mid-range drums, buzzing sound sparkles and beautifully crafted out-of-this-world string sequence as a perfect backdrop for the tunes crystalline main motif.
