Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has joined forces with long-term collaborator Ginger on new single ‘Spicy’, out 2nd April via Ultra.
A melodic techno track that’s fizzing with refined dancefloor energy, ‘Spicy’ combines driving snares, delicate piano chords and Ginger’s fleeting vocals as it gracefully builds in intensity throughout. The track marks the first in a line of singles planned throughout the rest of 2021, culminating in the release of Boris Brejcha’s new album in November.

With his new EP "EXIT" Boris Brejcha continues the success of his first two single releases "Spicy feat. Ginger" and "House Music feat. Arctic Lake". The 3-track EP once again underpins his distinctive musical style, which he himself describes as "high-tech minimal". The lead track "EXIT" is a driving techno track that is bursting with pure dancefloor energy. Paired with futuristic vocal samples, Boris Brejcha once again showcases his signature style.
"The Caravan" impresses with powerful drums, paired with an unprecedented melody in the break, which is enclosed with an energetic and powerful drop.
The track "Cruise Lane" rounds off this EP and sparks desire for his upcoming album Himmelblau, which will be released in winter 2021.

An alle da draußen,

es ist Zeit uns "solidarisch zu verkabeln". Mit und für Menschen in Not, denen aktuell jegliche Grundrechte genommen werden und deren Lebenssituation jede vorhandene Hilfe erfordert. Aktuell leben Menschen (alt-jung-krank) auf Lesbos in einem menschenverachtenden Lager (Moria), ohne Aussicht auf körperliche Unversehrtheit und ohne Chance auf ein faires Asylverfahren.

Mit der Kampagne ''Lesbos & Berlin - solidarisch verkabeln" wollen wir ein Zeichen für mehr Menschlichkeit setzen.

Das Ziel der Spenden-Kampagne ist es, einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Lebenssituation von Menschen auf Lesbos zu leisten. Mit den Einnahmen unterstützen wir No Border Kitchen, Pipka Solidarity auf Lesbos und die Seebrücke.

Die Spendenkampagne wird flankiert von einer Podcast-Reihe mit Solidarisch Tanzen und Kabelkiste Berlin. Für mehr Aufmerksamkeit, damit Lesbos nicht in Vergessenheit gerät.

Die Erlöse der Kampagne setzen wir zu 100% für schutzbedürftige Menschen ein. In Abstimmung mit unseren Projekt-Partner*innen auf Lesbos und in unserem solidarischen Netzwerk. Sobald die erforderliche Summe erreicht ist, können wir das Geld einsetzen. Alle Unterstützer*innen bekommen nach Abschluss der Kampagne einen Bericht über die Verwendung der Gelder und den Stand des Projektes.

Wo immer wir uns befinden, kann jede*r einen Beitrag leisten, die Weichen wieder auf Humanität zu stellen. Egal wie groß oder klein euer Beitrag auch sein mag,

To everyone out there,

it is time for us to start 'solidarisch verkabeln'. To build a
connection with and for people in need, who are currently deprived of
all fundamental human rights and whose life situation requires all
available help. Currently, people (old-young-sick) live in Lesbos in an
inhumane situation in a mass camp (Moria), with no prospect of physical
integrity and no chance of a fair asylum procedure.

With the campaign 'Lesbos & Berlin - solidarisch verkabeln' we want to
set an example for a more humane society.

The aim of the donation campaign is to make a contribution to improving
the living conditions of people in Lesbos. With the incomings we support
No Border Kitchen, Pipka Solidarity on Lesbos and Seebrücke.

The donation campaign is flanked by a podcast series with Solidarisch
Tanzen and Kabelkiste Berlin. To create more attention for the
situation, so that Lesbos will not be forgotten.

We will use 100% of the donations from the campaign to help the most
vulnerable people. The funds will be allocated in coordination with our
project partners on Lesbos and in our solidarity network. After the
campaign has ended, all supporters will receive a report on the use of
the funds and the status of the project.

Wherever we are, everyone can help to set the course straight, back to
humanity. No matter how big or small your contribution may be,

we say thank, you thank you, THANK YOU for your support.

We are cultural workers, artists, activists and we don't want to just
watch anymore, as doing nothing is not an option these days.

Claude VonStroke & Marc Houle have known each other for over 25 years; Claude growing up in Detroit and Marc just across the river in Windsor. Trading software and sample CDs with each other, music was the foundation of their friendship. While they never really made music together until now, both went on individual journeys and each has achieved the highest level of success in their genre.

"Fly Guy" is the new collaboration between old friends.  Marc sent over an old file that Claude loved, but they both realized it needed to be updated to 2020. The track references back to an older, funkier techno vibe they both love, while updating the production and adding a couple of winks in the process.  It's the ideal combination of Marc’s stripped-down, propelling techno brain and the production funk of Claude. Clearly, you can hear the influence of their early days in the midwest reflected throughout.

To compliment the collaboration and to lend further support of longtime friendship, Claude also a remix of Marc’s “Arizona” from his 2020 artist album, “No One Knows”,  that originally came out on his home label Item & Things for a b-side banger.
