WHITE OWLS is a underground hip hop group hailing from southwest Colorado formed by LOZEE and DJ Apparition. App- (from St. Paul, Minnesota) and ZEE- (from Durango, Co) formed WHITE OWLS in 2009. Before White Owls, Zee was in the group "ARTIKLE" with long time friend and business partner MOWGLI and released "NEIGHBORHOOD MUSIC" in 2007. In 2006 Zee and Mowgli formed STAND ALONE ENTERTAINMENT a DJ/Promotion company, and promote shows and Dj parties/weddings/events/etc...
Growing up as fans of hip hop we strive to make music our way, reminiscent of the era we are from. Focused on independent hip hop we build our music with no distractions from from A&R's or industry pressures. We are in total control of our finished product and the style of music we love. We released our freshman album titled "HARD LABOR" in 2010 and are currently finishing our sophomore release "Industry Ugly" for August 2013. We do all our recording and editing at the Cellar downstairs in zee's house, and are self taught in everything we do. Zee started writing 97-98 and has been building his studio since. Having played hundreds of shows as openers or headliners we have solidified our part in hip hop for the Southwest and for Colorado. Some of the acts we have opened for are:

WHITE OWLS was featured on Dj Green Lanterns "Unsigned Invasion" CD in 2010 with our song "Revolutions" off our 1st album "Hard Labor".  "Mad Stupid" off Cardboard City was featured on Coast to Coast Mixtapes- "Hottest in Colorado" edition in 2015. "No Politics"- off Cardboard City was featured on a world wide release in 2015 on Statik Selektah's XM Radio show- Showoff Casino on Shade 45. Stay tuned for more to come...... DONT SLEEP.....
