BASS FORWARD THE REVOLUTION CAST #4 – Roxy

Oldenburg based „Roxy“ (@djroxydnb) recorded the first guestmix for the fourth episode of our monthly podcast.

„Roxys“ fascination for drum & bass started with collecting vinyls and quickly turned into a fervour for DJing. By combining halftime, dubstep and various subgenres of drum & bass, she developed a versatile style, which led to her first club-gig in 2009.

In 2010 "Roxy" won the second place at the "Soundclash DJ Battle" in Bremen, after that more invitations from local promoters and radio-shows followed. From 2012-2015 she has played for the Bremen-based „Lifeline-Promotions“ Crew and shared stages with artists like: Forbidden Society, Optical, A.M.C., Roni Size and many more.

Since 2016, she is pushing the dark side of drum & bass at the radio-station „Bremen NEXT“,  once with her first show „Bassdrive“ and now with her show „Mixed mit Roxy“.

In this 90 minutes long mix, „Roxy“ delivers a fast-paced ride through heavy neurofunk and dark drum & bass, peppered with a few classics.
