The smallest bone in the body is located in the middle ear.  It plays an integral part in the human process of hearing by conducting sound waves to the inner ear. It is a point of transformation, bringing what’s outside, inside. Likewise, this podcast is a point of conduction: the conduction of stories - moments  filled with transitions and interruptions: awake and asleep; life and death, fear and peace, physical and abstract, real and surreal. Each episode is filled with mystery and complexities, exhibiting the equivocating and wondrous moments of life.

In one word Mystic Wool can be described as minimalist. Static charged soundscapes are conjured through layers of loops containing Gunselman’s meticulously crafted MicroKorg patches. Zach Bulgarelli fortifies this sound through an expressive and articulate drum style. Mystic Wool's mission is to push the boundary of music steering listeners towards their occult. Instrumental, improvisational, and often string-based, the works of Cody Yantis tend to reside in the margins between tonality and noise. Experiences and ideas of environment provide consistent motivations as Yantis explores what David Teague has called "people suiting posture to place."
