" Drdo is an ancient Armenian old folk song. My performance is dominated by quiet sound tones, whose mission is to convey to the listener the thought and idea of the song.

I present to you my 2024 live set, filmed at Mount Dimats in the breathtaking Lori region of Armenia. This project has been a surreal and transformative adventure, and I'm beyond excited to finally share it with the world.

This set is a blend of the inspirations that have shaped me over the years, drawing deeply from my Armenian heritage and my passion for exploring diverse musical landscapes. It's a mix of tradition and modernity, where electronic textures meet the timeless spirit of Armenian melodies.

ABOUT SEBU:

It has been a busy decade for L.A.-based platinum recording artist Sebu. He put out two critically acclaimed albums on Capitol Records with his band Capital Cities, whose Grammy-nominated electro-pop global smash “Safe and Sound” topped the charts and received an MTV award. He appeared on Fallon, Kimmel, Letterman, Ellen and Conan, toured five continents, opened for Katy Perry, played the biggest festivals, and even performed the national anthem at an MLB game. Sebu collaborated with the likes of The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson, Outkast's Andre 3000, System of a Down's Serj Tankian, Rick Ross, Markus Schulz and Sirusho.   But Sebu’s proudest accomplishment is yet to be revealed. It’s a collection of a dozen songs—deeply personal explorations of a wide range of emotions and musical styles. It is Sebu’s forthcoming debut album, aptly titled Many Faces.   The album will include "Have You Ever Hurt Somebody”—out now—a duet with Armenian singer/songstress Sirusho.

ABOUT SIRUSHO:

Sirusho is an Armenian singer whose musical career has been active for over 20 years. Her musical style reflects the Armenian traditional sounds mixed with modern music. In 2008, the BBC described her success as making her a "national treasure" of Armenia. Sirusho reached international recognition after becoming the Armenian spokesperson for the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest and the Armenian representative for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest held in Belgrade.
