TranscenDance for winds & percussion (World Premiere Performance)

Ezekiel Q. Webber (b.1994) is a graduate conducting student at Northern Arizona University-Kitt School of Music in Flagstaff, Arizona. With six years of experience as Director of Bands in South Carolina public schools, his ensembles have achieved “Superior” ratings at state contests and adjudicated performances. He is an active teacher, clinician, and conductor, recently serving as a clinician for the Aiken County (SC) Honor Band and guest conductor of the Carolina Winds (SC). Webber has studied under esteemed teachers such as Jason Fettig, Craig Kirchhoff, Mark Scatterday, Jerry Junkin, Michael Haithcock, Kevin Geraldi, Dennis Llinás, Richard Floyd, Damon Talley, and Kevin Sedatole through symposiums across the Southeast. As a freelance composer and arranger, his works have been performed by ensembles at Western Carolina University, the University of Georgia, and Northern Arizona University.

Webber holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC), where he studied trombone under Dr. Brad Edwards. He actively participated in concert bands and the Carolina Trombone Collective, while also conducting chamber ensembles in several world premieres. Webber is a member of the  National Association for Music Education (NafME), Kappa Kappa Psi, and co-founder of "in∙spire" : A Chamber Music Collective.
