Lukas aka. Drückeberger: A professional musician to the fullest, studied trumpeter, part of RasgaRasga (https://www.rasgarasga.de/) and the Dreisamkeit Kollektiv (@3samkeitparty).
Almost 3 years ago he began to integrate his musical know-how into Djing and since then he has been improvising live with his trumpet to his sets. 

His musical understanding speaks for itself. Listen to the sounds and the sensitivity with which everything is coordinated and you will get an insight into Lukas' world of music.

Jakob aka. Der letzte Zwilling: Freiburg-based DJ for over 12 years, globetrotter and part of the FjordFest collective (@fjordfest). Music has always played a very important role in his life since he was a child. The time in South America, especially in Sao Paulo, shaped and deepened his musical understanding and the standards of his music. It's all about harmony! This is the key to understanding.
Only those who listen carefully will understand the story that is being told by these two.

2020 has been an eye opening year, revealing many things about our friends, family, and ourselves. One such thing I've noticed is how we all live in our own little bubbles.  All our connections, people we associate with, brands and companies we like and follow on social media, everything so rapidly consumed and absorbed day in and day out, it is only now in confinement where I've become more aware of this....

On a semi-related side note,  I'm a huge basketball fan. Any of my close friends would know this, so I've been ecstatic that the NBA has returned. Each player is living inside a literal bubble give the Pandemic. This basketball bubble has had my full attention these last 2 weeks... so I found it quite funny and a fantastic coincidence that a fellow DJ and Tony @aka_tony came to me with a LOST mix idea with the theme of "BUBBLES," Soap bubbles to be exact.  Thomas Williams alias @aka_tony started out as a DJ in Switzerland in the last century. I discovered him since he's played a few of my tracks in his mixes (thanks bud).  Since 2018 he spreads love and nice tunes as a resident at Radio GDS.FM in Zurich, where he has his own broadcasting slot. With Aka-Tapes Thomas runs his own podcast blog on Soundcloud. In the last couple of months he has crafted various podcasts for different channels around the globe. 

I was curious, so I asked him, how did this theme originate? His response was:

"After an eventful, beautiful and challenging decade in which people seemed to have found peace, determination and clarity, the situation changed abruptly. Almost from one day to the next, uncertainty, great challenges and suspicion returned. Everything and anything was questioned and the most adventurous theories made the rounds. People soon no longer knew who was friend or foe. Information was interpreted in a way that always protected their own interests. Objectivity and attentiveness were lost. To deal with this situation, creative people discovered the concept of the soap bubble. Soap bubbles with which one could wrap all the abstruse theories and theorists and gently send them on a journey of knowledge. So they discovered that the earth was not a flat disk after all and said also goodbye to many other absurd theories. So if you are desperate about all the uncertainties that will challenge you in the present and the near future, this mix will help you to wrap gruesome ideas and concepts into a soap bubble and send them on the much needed journey of knowledge."

Witchtape #78 | Guest Wizz : AVM

(Story continued from Witchtapes 16-22-29-31)

That morning the little witch was in a frisky mood when performing her daily inspection round in her forest.  It was the very day of the autumn equinox and this brought a new energy to the whole ecosystem, with some leaves already turning yellow and quite a few birds came to kiss the girl goodbye before flying away in southern direction for their annual migration.  As always, the witch visited the badgers who had dug an elaborate system of tunnels and burrows to protect the tiny oak tree she had planted two years ago.  This little tree was destined to live for 1000 years and become the future mother tree of the forest, yet at that moment it was still tiny and vulnerable, but luckily the badgers did an excellent job to keep all threats away from the oh-so-important little tree.  As always, the badgers were in a cheerful and ebullient mood when they saw the witch arriving, but that day the girl found their behavior a little bit strange.  It was as if they all had a conspiring smile on their faces and they seemed to be hiding something from the young witch.  The girl shrugged of these thoughts and continued walking, but when she looked in the direction of the future mother tree, her heart suddenly skipped a beat …
Next to the tiny tree, on a soft bed of moss there was a little girl sleeping.  Obviously she couldn’t be human as all people are systematically intercepted and chased out of the woods by the guard animals.  The witch cautiously came closer to the sleeping beauty, who looked distinctly Asian.  Then it dawned to her that she must be a forest nymph who came all the way from South-East Asia to stay at this very place for her whole life to protect the future mother tree.  The little witch decided to lie down next to the sleeping girl and almost instantly she became overwhelmed by the pure unspoiled energy of the sleeping nymph, who must have been completely exhausted from the epic trip from South-East Asia all the way to this pristine forest in North-Western Europe.  But most of all, the witch was completely reassured and she knew that the future mother tree would be perfectly safe from now on …

On a beautiful and sunny autumn day, I've had the pleasure to open Mystic Forest Festival and be part of a fantastic line up, alongside some of my favorite artists, who have inspired me so much throughout this musical path I'm walking. This event was organized by Mystic Tales in collaboration with BeYond and Fernab, and the organizers were very careful with the current corona regulations.

As the leafs fall and winter approaches, we are invited to let go of what's not essential in our lives and to focus on what sustain and nourishes our beings. Music has always been one of these essential things that nourishes my soul. So, even though we don't know how this corona winter is gonna be like, this set was intended to help us keep our dreams alive and warmly embrace them while we go through it.
