The super sped up vocals are so cool, very eerie and interesting

Project 1 : Dicemaker

I had two main ideas going into this. The first was to play around with echo on a single voice so that it can harmonize with itself. The other was to create a gentle cacophony of incomprehensible mutterings. Dissonant Whispers, if you will. I used Arturia for both---the echoed voice is a sampler with bitcrush and delay, and the mutterings underneath are three separate layers of me speaking where I played around with different granular settings using EFX Fragments. Going forward I'd like to expand the harmonic content with lower tones and different textures as the piece goes on.

My project will be split into two segments: a bass heavy distorted grungy opening segment and a lighter, more angelic closing segment. This is the opening segment without the vocals, as I have not gotten around to refining the singing on this part of the track. I like how it sounds instrumental though!
