Luca Zanon was born in 1975 in Vittorio Veneto in the northeast of Italy. In the end of the 1980s he started his DJ career playing in the surroundings of Conegliano Veneto.
At an early age he revealed his talent for music which he cultivated through passion over the years. His launch into the nightlife took place in the Manhattan, Vangelia and Victoria clubs, where he worked first as p.r., then as djlight and finally as deejay.
The irreplaceable style of Dj Zanoni traces its origins back to the early steps of his career, when he approached unexplored new and innovative styles and Vanguard sounds, ultimately embracing the Underground style – a music genre buzzing in the culturally rich and dynamic city of the Chicago in the 1980s. He first exhibited his style at the “Movida” and with people there it was just “love at first sight”! This was the start of the incredible success that Dj Zanoni scored in many clubs of the area, through his stylish and unique performances.
After the encounter with Gianluca Fedele, the artistic director of the Diamantik, he launched there his music, obtaining a great success and becoming the opening DJ for the nights at the Movida. His career reached a turning point in the 1990s, when he gained popularity, thanks to his truly enjoyable 6a.m-12a.m afterhours at the Gilda club in Jesolo. In this period the agency Movida offered him a permanent contract.
For some years the Italian music was at an impasse and DJ Zanoni performed preferentially in private events dedicated to the house music, a remarkable one was the “Prida Eventet” set in the ancient castle of Cappella Maggiore – Treviso.
It is in 2010 that DJ Zanoni landed in the United States attracted by the curiosity for new musical trends. He spent a few days in New York, exploring the top clubs of the area e.g. the CIELO. Along his trip he met the famous DJ Mr LOUIE VEGA, a master of mixing and house music, who greatly influenced his artistic exploration and his decision to participate to greatest international DJ Contest organized within the Winter Music Conference (WMC) in collabotration with the Disco Mix Club (DMC). Here DJ Zanoni won the first prize.
The award ceremony took place at the Clevelander, one of the best luxury hotels in Miami, where DJ Zanoni received the prestigious and glamorous Swarovski Crystal Headphone.
