For anyone curious the pictures were taken during California wildfires during 2020.

Beginner field recordist capturing natural sounds for aesthetic and scientific purposes. I have been a naturalist for almost a decade with a deep connection to the plants, animals, and fungi that live in my region. This page will reflect my attempts to capture and share the soundscapes I find myself in and the sounds of birds, insects, and amphibians that live in southwestern Pennsylvania.

I use an Olympus LS-100 recorder and Clippy EM172 microphones.
