The Album's Concept: Everyone has a story, One story; The Monomyth. You are the main character. To understand the nature of story and what it means to us is to understand your own life path. Monomyth Separation is Part One of the Hero’s Journey. Will you accept the call to adventure? 

This album was born during my first big tour of Greece. I played 10 cities and travelled around the whole country playing my music. I received such great energy and feedback from fans that I decided I must make a project inspired by the trip, so I started digging! I collected records from around Greece; some traditional greek music plus other nice bits that I found. Whilst I was traveling, I was trying to come up with a concept that would tell the tale of a great journey. And of course, as I was in Greece ideas of myth and legend came to mind. So, when I returned home I researched a few things and stumbled across a theory by a philosopher and writer called Joseph Campbell. Basically, he wrote a book called “The hero with a thousand faces” in which he describes a theory that all great stories share; common elements - that they are all one story, a Monomyth. Is there a deeper meaning to why we tell stories? Are they a road map for our very existence, and a way to describe the cycle of life, death and rebirth? Due to this the album is very cinematic. I try to tell a story, but I want the listener to decide what that story is. The album will be best enjoyed as a whole so please find a quiet time to settle in and enjoy the ride.

No strangers to working together, the two have already entered national charts and picked up playlists at BBC 6 music with previous musical collaborations. With a career spanning over 2 decades in music, Ali was one of the first and longest standing residents at legendary club Fabric, in addition to hosting radio shows on Capital and Kiss. Equally, Bam's legacy spans back to the 1980s as a founding member of the hip hop defining Jungle Brothers. He has also worked alongside luminaries such as De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest during a much lauded career.

First up, Dubra & Arteo's remix ups the tempo a little and brings that solid dance floor production they are so loved for, fusing 808s and electronica to stunning effect. Then, Beatvandals flip it completely with disco based hooks bringing a huge dose of funk to the table. With three versions of the highest quality containing outstanding vocals from the legendary Baby Bam, this is an essential release from Bombstrikes!

F-WORD, a skilled breakbeat artist and known figure in electronic music, was born in USSR. His early musical influences were marked by energetic styles of Hardcore and Jungle. Over time, he turned to the roots of music, focusing on Funk, underground Hip-Hop, and IDM. This transition reflects his commitment to diversity and a deep understanding of musical contexts.

In his school years, F-WORD started crafting his own music, and during this period, he discovered his passion for breakbeat. This genre became his primary channel for expressing individuality and experimentation. Later he became obsessed with the art of DJing, seeing complex mixes as a separate form of art.

Today, F-WORD lives on the beautiful island of Phuket in Thailand. There he organized the iconic series of UK Garage and Bass parties called SUB. F-WORD's goal is to unite people through music and create unique sonic journeys. His tracks and remixes are heard all over the world: at parties, on the radio and in the speakers of electronic music lovers.
