Originally, the Spritz is a drink from Venetia, Italy. Today were delighted to serve you a German twist of the aperitif classic made by no one less than Elias Doré, the force behind Rebellion der Träumer. 

Originally from Berlin, Elias explored many facets of music by performing in various bands and genres, from Afro-Funk in Dakar, Klezmer and Gipsy in London to Reggae and Soul in Berlin, before fully immersing himself in electronic music. What has over time stayed with him is his love for melodic warmth and organic sounds. Not confined by tempo or genre boundaries, Elias always takes his time to create a context and narrative around his music. 

His latest releases include a remix of Touzani's 'Asi Es La Vida' on Trndmsk Records, 'Nubivagant' together with Paul Baule on the most recent Harabe Nightmares compilation as well as 'Batura' together with the boys from LADS on Rebellion der Träumer.

It was such a special moment for me to close that stage after having experienced the beauty of this festival the whole weekend before.

Wenn in mitten der grünen Lunge der Stadt das Parkhouse zum brodelnden Sonntag-Dancefloor wird, selbst in den Randbezirken von Graz noch der Bass zu hören ist, dann steht er hinter den Turntables. 
Er ist ein sehr geschätztes Spring-Familienmitglied.
Im Jahr des Viruses verlegten wir sein Closing ins Radio.
Wer es versäumt hat, hat nun die Chance es sich anzuhören.

As a founding member of the legendary quartet Kombinat100, Molle aka Mollono.Bass is a well known face within the scene since quite some time. His deep passion for electronic music caused the foundation of Acker Records in 2006, which he leads as its mastermind, as well as the launch of 3000° Records in 2008. And that’s still not enough: The always cheerful dude from the north-eastern German state of Mecklenburg is also involved in the projects Rundfunk3000 and Eulenhaupt & Mollenhauer. Behind the turntables as well as live, Mollono.Bass presents minimal Techhouse beats which directly aim the dance floor and therefore always contain a proper portion of bounce. The efficiency of his grooves has been proved by various successful productions and remixes on Acker and Ostwind Records. Also, Molle’s talent has already been smelled beyond the herring pond, a collaboration with Los Angeles resident Absurd Records will present a series of his tracks. Like already known from his productions for Kombinat100, Mollono.Bass embeds warm, groovy and driving drum sets into a dubby, harmonic and emotional soundscape. His organic tunes with a touch of atmospheric sounds take the listener on a journey through time and space. Who does not feel like dancing when listening to this music, should probably just stay at home!

Das beweisen eine Vielzahl erfolgreicher Veröffentlichungen auf Acker und Ostwind Records. Und auch jenseits des großen Teichs hat man sein Talent bereits gewittert, im Zuge einer Zusammenarbeit mit dem in Los Angeles ansässigen Absurd Records erscheint dort eine Reihe seiner Werke. Wie schon in seinen Produktionen mit Kombinat100, bettet Mollono.Bass warme, groovige und treibende Drumsets in ein dubbiges, harmonisches und emotionales Klanguniversum. Sein organischer Sound mit einem Hauch atmosphärischer Klänge entführt den Hörer auf eine Reise durch Raum und Zeit. Wer bei dieser Musik nicht die Lust zum Tanzen verspürt , sollte vielleicht einfach zu Hause bleiben!

‘Music is my anchor, my passion, my favorite form of expression’, Fabian says, adding: ‘I want to surprise’. It’s this belief in freedom that drives his work as an artist, unafraid to experiment and craft a profoundly personal sound in the process. A juxtaposition often sits at the heart of his tracks, as Fabian sprinkles lush or mischievous melodies over springy, sometimes elastic and other times static rhythms, nodding to organic and minimal house at once. It’s Fabian’s deep-rooted feeling for sound that fuse these disparate motifs into an irresistible whole as his productions unfold and flourish with intricate details and surprising touches, always united under a tight groove.

All of these addictive attributes are equally omnipresent when Fabian helms the booth – with a nonchalance rooted in pure joy that’s perceivable in an instant. Here, again, he intrinsically becomes the storyteller, weaving an authentic narrative while turning the room upside down. Whether that’s with a sunny selection at Sisyphos Strand, peak-time power at Bucht der Träumer, Wilde Möhre or Feel Festival or a dubbed-out affair for Afterhour Sounds. While by no means a recent presence in Berlin with past gigs at favourites like Kater Blau, Sisyphos, or Ritter Butzke, the last years took Fabian further afield to festivals like The Monastery, Bucht der Träumer, Feel, scene highlight ADE or shows around the world in Oaxaca, Tulum, Zanzibar, New York, Miami, Washington, Seattle, Istanbul, Amsterdam and many more.
