The "Croisière du monde", our collaborative album in progress with Roberto B (@user-55822457 and @robertoiib) that focuses on film music but with much variation and cross-genre influences, gains speed today with its 3rd track, "La tempête" - or, in English translation, "The Storm". We hope you'll enjoy it, as it seems to have been the case with the preceding two tracks in this album here on SoundCloud.

The track was created in collaboration on 29 September and 10 October 2021 (initial and subsequent mix and recording in MAGIX by Roberto B), 9 and 13 October 2021 (intermediate and further additions, mix and recording in GarageBand and Logic Pro by Alex M) and 14 October 2021 (final recording and mix in Logic Pro by Alex M), and posted on SC on 15 October 2021 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the album and all its constituent tracks was designed and implemented by Alex M on 29 June 2021 (in Tayasui Sketch in Mac OS), cropped by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 30 June 2021, and annotated with text by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 2 October 2021 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

Thank you so much, Roberto - for the beautiful musical ideas that inspire again our new collaborations in this ongoing "musique de film" - and more - album, "Croisière du monde"!

This song uses what Emmylou Harris calls "Canadian tuning" - EAEAAE - so I thought I'd better write a song with a Canadian theme. What emerged was a song about climbing Silver Mountain in Ontario's stunning Killarney Park. It has a bit of a Gord Lightfoot influence, which makes it even more Canadian, eh?

This song represents my mental state irl and the suffering I go through daily but I live through even with therapy and stuff. Your choice to enjoy or not. My song anyways. <3

Honest Opinion on a old situation: I honestly never speak upon the situation other than the people I have with. But I absolutely don't give a fuck if anyone doesn't like if I have elements or use the stuff from Cynical/Xynii's music (That I had always had permission to or was given.). His music was amazing no matter what. The ones that done him dirty, congrats on living in the past, I don't support any of you. So I will be grateful and credit his work unlike some people. I held away but kept my opinion formatted. I watched as those who did him wrong start getting away with all these bad things while the actual friend I care about has gotten help and turned life around with the one person who actually cared while others waited for the moment to ruin his life for no god damn reason. This is a song that the enormous singer Brittany Espinoza has written and performed, and with the musical creation and production of Freddie M. in Mastering True Music. It is a project that we had pending before the unfortunate events related to Covid19, and has been had to be postponed, until today a version of that song has been released at the end. I thank Brittany for her collaboration and great talent, and also Miguel S. and Richard J. for their great work on the technical part of Mastering True Music.
