Hope you find something you like here. I sing and play some guitar, piano, bass and drums (do not record my own drums due to lack of fitting recording environment-unfortunately). You'll find some collaborations with other SC artists too. I have a job in a totally different field (doctor of cardiology). I am not into AI generated music.

My name is Alexandru Ciobanu Al Rufei, and I am a Concert Pianist, Composer, Songwriter, and Ballet Piano Accompanist. As a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor in Arts/Piano Performance and over 15+ years of teaching experience, I am thrilled to share my musical journey with you.

Here’s a glimpse into my musical achievements:

	•	1997 – First Place, International Piano Competition, Brasov, Romania; Recital, Marcelino Botin Foundation, Santander, Spain
	•	1996 – First Place, International Piano Competition, Agropoli, Italy; Awarded the Eugen Barbu Prize

Since 2002, I have performed at 4 and 5-star venues such as the J.W. Marriott, Grand Hotel Continental, Casino Palace, and many others, playing a range of genres including jazz, classical, and cafe-concerto music.

Music has always been a big part of my life since I was a kid. I'm Grade 4 Piano, Grade 6 Percussion, am self-taught at guitar, play accordion & sing too. I thought I'd try out making music using some of the apps that are available & am just learning as I go along so I really appreciate any comments or feedback on my compositions ♥️🙏🤟
I have a broad taste in music & am influenced  by various different styles/genres such as, classic rock like Janis Joplin/Led Zeppelin & The Rolling Stones, Trance, Hard House, Electronic, 90s bands like Ocean Colour Scene & Primal Scream, & am a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Necro & many more...🎶😜

As an architect, I am interested in the question - if architecture is frozen music, then music is melted architecture? In this case I'm the freezer unplugged.🤗
