Yet another 5/4

Hi! Thank you so very much for visiting my soundcloud page and for supporting my little songs with your likes and amazing comments.  I am so grateful for your time.  If you have decided to follow me, all I have to say is that I am honored! Thank you!  I have posted some tracks, mostly from my first album soon to be released. 

I write, sing, play piano/keys, arrange, produce, and can perform live all of my own songs. I work with real players both live and remotely. What I do and the way I do it takes time, effort, and money. I don't use any A.I. to write my songs, arrange, do vocals, or anything else. Some A.I. company recently claimed that people don't enjoy creating music because of the time and effort it takes to practice and learn etc...and I believe this to be somewhat misguided. I love practicing, learning, listening to the greats, and working on my music. Furthermore, I can't see the point in having software do the creating for me. What would be the point?

Dear listener, thanks for visiting my site. You'll find some of my Demo Songs, some of them finished, some are work in progress. Some have been recorded about 30 years ago. I then stopped recording for about 3 decades beeing busy with my job and family.  I felt there was always something missing that’s why I started recording again in the winter of 23/24. All these works are far from being perfect but come from deep inside my heart. Who can say that time exists in any way other than intangible ? If this exists, can it be judging or helping in any other way than philosophically ....................................................

My name is Alexandru Ciobanu Al Rufei, and I am a Concert Pianist, Composer, Songwriter, and Ballet Piano Accompanist. As a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor in Arts/Piano Performance and over 15+ years of teaching experience, I am thrilled to share my musical journey with you.

Here’s a glimpse into my musical achievements:

Since 2002, I have performed at 4 and 5-star venues such as the J.W. Marriott, Grand Hotel Continental, Casino Palace, and many others, playing a range of genres including jazz, classical, and cafe-concerto music.

Music has always been a big part of my life since I was a kid. I'm Grade 4 Piano, Grade 6 Percussion, am self-taught at guitar, play accordion & sing too. I thought I'd try out making music using some of the apps that are available & am just learning as I go along so I really appreciate any comments or feedback on my compositions ♥️🙏🤟
I have a broad taste in music & am influenced  by various different styles/genres such as, classic rock like Janis Joplin/Led Zeppelin & The Rolling Stones, Trance, Hard House, Electronic, 90s bands like Ocean Colour Scene & Primal Scream, & am a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Necro & many more...🎶😜

As an architect, I am interested in the question - if architecture is frozen music, then music is melted architecture? In this case I'm the freezer unplugged.🤗
The iceberg from the freezer is still dripping, but over time it can leak heavily...
