It felt amazing to let myself go this way last Sunday at Sisyphos Berlin. What an incredible crowd that merged everything together to become one unique thing, under fast but yet trippy and warm beats. Many tracks were loaded into this set. It's a constant combination of different elements, external drums, loops, my own bass lines and pads through Ableton Live, with the support of my beloved MODEL1 mixer which I use to sculpt the frequencies trying my best to make it all sound as if it was one single evolving track.

Live: Techno with MODEL1 mixer (Studio mix2)

The planets aligned and so I set out to record a new "selection" podcast, a project started years ago characterized by being particularly intricate, dynamic, featuring a clean/deeper techno I would say.

With the series I try my hand at pulling tracks and jamming sounds. A total of 41 tracks make up the 53-minute set, layered courtesy of my MODEL1 and using the set up you already know by now.

Based in Berlin, Fabio Florido is a DJ/producer who has previously released on the likes of Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 and runs his own Run a imprint. Returning to his own label this July, Florido invites Luigi Tozzi, Exos,Amotik, Danny Wabbit, Edgar de Ramon, Insolate, Arthur Robert and Marsch to remix records from his impressive back catalogue on a brand new compilation, yielding thrilling results.

“It's been a little over two and a half years since the launch of my label, Runa. Each release carried a story, a message, or an intention that I wanted to share with those who, like me, were "confined" at home. Thesena rratives were inspired by the mood of the EP, its title, or events happening while I was crafting it.

We are all shaped by experiences accumulated over the past years, which we now apply to our new lives, clubs, and music. So, I invited eight of my favourite artists to remix or reinterpret eight of my tracks, all composed during the pandemic. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
