"Hausmusik is both a monthly mix series and chronological retrospective of club music from Germany, Austria and Switzerland from 1989 onwards. When I started putting together the mixes, I noticed that the more downtempo tracks didn’t really fit in, which was a shame. I had planned to do a few spinoff mixes featuring music that hadn’t made it into the series, but when asked if I wanted to do a mix for SEASIDE, it felt the the perfect opportunity to do just that.

I grew up in a coastal town called Kiel in Northern Germany, and the seashore up there is what I still miss the most about living in Berlin. I try to go back to my favourite beaches as often as possible, and when recording this mix I recalled what being close to the sea feels like. The title of the mix is obviously a pun, but also very much the truth.” (@finn_johannsen]

07 - Finn Johannsen (Pier Pressure Edition)

Been taking some time out and spending it in the west of Ireland between two special places - a cottage by a beautiful lake called Lough Mask and a gaff close to the sea in Connemara. Haven't put out a mix in so so long and have lots of music i want to share. Good for listening en route to festivals perhaps. Will try not to wait so long next time.  Vinyl from Lost Epcot, Estrato Aurora, B12, The Smoke Clears........amongst others.

Here we are with another episode of our international mix series. This one is coming straight from the city of Bristol, by Paul Wise aka @placid_88. Paul is a veteran of the scene, collecting records from the late 80's and kicking asses on the dancefloor from the beginning of the nineties, becoming legendary for his sets of 303-drenched acid and his reputation as 'The DJ's DJ'. Nowadays, with his new project, the "We're going deep" label, he's releasing "new music for the dance floor, your front room or even just your headphones". 
He has cooked a straight quality mix of deepness, merging spacey techno and uplifting basslines, with his recognizable acidic touch, and filled in with fresh tunes and unreleased material as well.
