Hardmoon London is a new independent platform solely focused to release music by the analog militants who are struggling against the loudness war of digital industry and want to spread the love of that warm, distorted sound exclusively through vinyl or special tapes. The tracks we are going to release are recorded directly on tape without "the help" of computers, so that interference, mistakes, and noise are all going to be apart of what's pressed straight onto the 180 grams of throttling hammers grinding away. It's all enclosed within in a special printed sleeve!

The first release comes by way of courtesy from the mysterious Hissman who captures, with his name, the vey essense of the tape's sound: Hissssss... that's the sound you hear when a tape starts rolling.

These tracks go right back to the essence, hitting the full spectrum with stripped back classic New York and Chicago House cuts that wouldn't seem out of place in a BMX or WBLS mix from back in the day. Catchy dx basslines, slammin reverb drenched drum programming, and deep strings are on order for this one. WLS14 - FABIO MONESI - MARBLE ACT EP

Creme Organization’s latest missive comes from Fabio Monesi, an Italian with a gritty house sound that is aimed squarely at the club. He’s served up punchy beats on labels like Russian Torrent versions as well as his own Wilson Records before now and has a simple but effective sound. 

‘Riot’ kicks us off with rock slid kicks and lithe synth stabs fleshing out the macho groove. Clever vocal samples bring some steaminess and ensure this one will do plenty of damage on the floor. ‘Last Friday’ is a raw and lo-fi affair with rattling, sharp edged hits and hissing synths all softened with jazzy chords. House drums and rolling bass prop it up in groovy fashion, then ‘Reduction’ is a frazzled brew of spiting hits, jerking machine grooves and busted frequencies that is as raw and tough as you like. Last of all, the excellent ‘Ozyork’ rounds us out with punchy drum programming, intoxicating and off kilter chords and brain frying sonic imperfections that are perfectly imperfect. Add in a deep acid line and you have a surefire house bomb with real meat in its bones.

@Wilson-Records head honcho Fabio Monesi has quickly carved out a solid reputation through a unique, ruff-n-ready sound that land somewhere between vintage, dusty Chicago house and analogue-driven hardware techno.

Most of his releases have landed on his own Wilson Records, a vinyl only imprint that has also housed records from Chicago pioneers Gene Hunt and Jordan Fields, as well as a few select important releases on labels that share his aesthetic like L.I.E.S. , Craigie Knowes or Creme Organization.

The fascination and the attraction for all the different shades of electronic music brought Fabio to explore new territories, and to release music under different aliases constantly, making Fabio one of the most prolific producers of the recent years.

Whether it be via a no bullshit DJ set or his own take on a live set, Fabio remains consistent in drawing his audiences back, time and time again, Assuring to be constantly in-demand as a DJ at some of World’s best clubs.
