fabric Originals returns unveiling the fifth edition of our "SELECTS" series, a meticulously curated compilation that has become synonymous with cutting-edge sounds and forward-thinking artists.

"SELECTS V" continues fabric's tradition of pushing boundaries, featuring an all-star lineup of underground heavyweights, including Sweely, Anna Wall, Cinthie, Enzo Siragusa, Traumer, and Josh Baker.


The release follows the success of the *vinyl sampler* that dropped in August, featuring a handpicked selection of tracks from "SELECTS V." The vinyl flew off the shelves — a testament to the anticipation surrounding this compilation. As vinyl enthusiasts and collectors continue to hunt for copies, the full digital release promises to deliver the same impact, offering a seamless blend of house, techno, and everything in between.

Overmono’s new track ‘If U Ever’ is as optimistic as they come. To be released exclusively as part of their 'fabric presents’ compilation, the track shines with bright synths, breaks and an R&B vocal that sounds like it’s been warped by sunlight. ‘If U Ever' takes Overmono's signature sound and turns it into something that could be their most radio friendly track to date. “We knew we wanted to write something that felt like the opposite of the time we were in,” say the duo. "we wanted to try and capture the feeling that summer had finally arrived, we’re round a mate's house having some drinks and it’s nearly time to head out for the night.” In that sense, it’s mission accomplished. One of three Overmono tracks to feature on ‘fabric presents Overomo’.

Sedef Adasï joins us for the very first instalment of our new podcast series. We’re inviting fabric artists, special guests, and rising talent alike to curate a specialist guest mix for us, dropping a new exclusive every few weeks – watch this space.  

HAMAM Nights founder and newly appointed Panorama Bar resident Sedef Adasï handles our inaugural edition, delivering a solid 60 minutes featuring tracks from Luke Vibert, Gerome Sportelli, Isaiah, Friedrich Ernstwith, DJ DISRESPECT and more, with an unreleased tune in there too.

Turkish born, Germany-based DJ Sedef Adasï is a genre-hopping specialist; known to blend anything from tough, psychedelic acid, accelerated techno, rough house and glistening, warping electro. Her mix for us, expertly glides through a rich selection of the above – readying us for her very first appearance – of many, we hope – in our main room next month.

Colombian born Adriana Lopez has established herself as one of the most influential techno artists of all time. 

Over the years, the DJ, producer and label head, has been perfecting her instantly recognisable style of brooding, hypnotic and driving techno through releases on labels known to nurture this sound, such as Spanish labels PoleGroup and Semantica and of course on her own label, Grey Report where Adriana has been developing and releasing music from artists such as Developer, NX1, Takaaki Itoh & more.  

As a DJ, Adriana has been developing her craft for well over two decades now, beginning in her hometown of Bogota in the late 90’s before moving to Barcelona in 2003 which opened up a global touring schedule with performances at the best clubs in the world. Her sound is dark yet groovy, its rhythm and energy offers pure escapism. It’s hard to find a more dedicated, consistent and skillful approach to DJ’ing…  

Adriana steps up for the second edition of our newly launched fabric podcast. For 2 hours, we’re treated to a ferocious offering of unreleased music, current favourites and some of Lopez’s own productions.

Mind Against finally join the revered ‘fabric presents’ mix series, compilation out Friday 23rd September ahead of their extended set in the much-loved venue. On Saturday 24th September. 

The mix closes with their own ’Freedom’ with Dyzen. The track opens and continues a dialogue between the dreamy languor of emotion-rich synth chords evoking early noughties euphoria, and dog-whistle-pitched melodic phrases leaping and playing, over a strong but subtle multi-layered percussion, all pinned by a beat of silence in the midst. A soundtrack for blissed-out summer nights.

Mind Against & Dyzen- Freedom (Original Mix)

Hannah Holland’s role in London’s alternative and queer scene goes back over a decade ago. In the mid 2000’s, she began exploring the lines between techno, electro and house music whilst also being heavily influenced by the D&B and Jungle raves of which she spent most of her teens.   

London served as the ultimate melting pot and hub for development, nurturing Holland’s unique sound which took her through residencies at iconic events such as Trailer Trash, to festival stages such as Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow and to extended sessions at Panormama Bar and across Europe.  

She also heads up the Batty Bass imprint, founded in 2009 as a label and event series, it provided a platform for her own explorations as well as one for artists such as our own resident Josh Caffe, The Carry Nation, Lauren Flax & more.   As a producer, Hannah has collaborated alongside Josh Caffe on Crosstown Rebels whilst also taking up remix duties for legendary figures such as DJ Hell, Goldfrapp, The Knife and Planningtorock.  

Hannah joins us for 003 in the fabric podcast, ahead of her appearance at fabric on July 2nd where will be celebrating Pride with HE.SHE.THEY. Also on the night is Cassy, TAAHLIAH, Anna Wall, Massimiliano Pagliara & lot’s more.

Martyn’s music transcends the constraints of genre… 

Pick a track from his extensive back catalogue and you’ll be sure to hear influences from Drum ’n’ Bass, Garage, Detroit, Chicago or Dubstep - the latter of which Martyn was probably known best for having been influential in the evolution of the “Post-Dubstep” sound in London that was so closely connected with institutions like Plastic People and FWD>.   

This broad collection of influences has created a sound that is distinctively, Martyn, and as an extension of that, a sound that is very much associated with his own label, 3024. It has also found it’s way on to the best labels across the electronic landscape, including Ninja Tune, Warp, Hyperdub, Brainfeeder and Ostgut Ton to name a few.  

His ability as a DJ runs parallel to his achievements as a producer, having secured his place in fabric history over 10 years ago with his contribution to our fabric CD series. A perfect snapshot of a place in time with music from Kode9, Actress, Zomby, Joy Orbison and lot’s more.

Ahad Elley, aka Ahadadream, has had an impact on the party-starting circuit since lockdown that's been well recognised, but his impact stretches long before then; Ahadadream formed More Time Records with Sam Interface in 2017, and has his fingers in several pies and projects. As co-founder of South Asian music-focused festival Dialled In, which launched last September, and mastermind behind No ID party which has welcomes the likes of Naina, Nabihah Iqbal and Jyoty to staple London venues, Ahad has played a key party in championing and paying forward the sounds and talent of South Asian DJs who are electrifying UK dance music.

With a tour in the works, the British-Pakistani DJ and producer has been shutting things down at festivals and venues across the globe this summer, with notable sets including a recent B2B with Daytimers’ Yung Singh at Glastonbury’s famous Silver Hayes area. His sound is aptly club-ready, often referencing his South Asian roots, whilst emphasising his love of drums, percussive hits and an energy that is distinctly London-rooted. The sounds of which decorate recent EP release Homecoming. Met with warm acclaim, The Guardian dubbed it as “the stuff of ravey dreams.” And we’re dreaming of raving with Ahad very soon.

Champion is one of east London’s finest bass and beatsmiths. His tracks have featured on numerous iconic past FABRICLIVE mixes (Four Tet & Champion – ‘Flip Side’ on FABRICLIVE 89: Hannah Wants, ‘Gunshot’ on FABRICLIVE: 88 Flava D, and Champion - ‘Cannon (Dismantle's VIP)’ on FABRICLIVE 86: My Nu Leng), so it feels right to be welcoming him back fabric for a Friday night. 

Since breaking through with a debut EP in 2011, Champion has been a formidable name in the UK bass scene. In a way, this pairing symbolises the legacy of old school fabric, and the new generation coming together. Ahadadream and Champion’s mix for us taps into some serious rave-ready sounds, reflecting the dazzling rhythmic rapport of these two. We can’t wait to see it in action.

Red Axes have just dropped the recording of a very special 5 hour set in Room 2. Now available to stream, this exclusive recording from this time last year is a deep-dive into the staple sound of the punk-edged duo.

Made up of Tel-Aviv Based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik & Niv Arzi, Red Axes have been more than catching our eyes and ears over the past few years.  So much so, we’re keen to share our passion for the duo elsewhere, even taking them to other venues such as Village Underground for another special extended session earlier this year.

The pair have roots in rock music and begun their creative collaboration when they were in a band together. So perhaps it is unsuprising that today, their electronic music projects delve into a sound that roams through psychedelic electronica, post-punk and new wave elements, often dipping into a retro rock and 80’s hued sound that first fuelled their sonic spark.

A more hazed out, soulful meditation than previous singles ‘MYSM’ and ‘PRESSURE’, TYGAPAW’s ‘GLAMOUR Riddim’ utilises vapour-esque synths and reverbed vocal samples that echo through the track’s featherweight atmospheres. The vocals of one of the UK’s brightest new stars George Riley only brings further animation to the track, with her whispered tones offsetting TYGAPAW’s midtempo percussion to create passionate counterpoint on the producer’s vital forthcoming album, ‘love has never been a popular movement’. Hypnotic, blissful and packed with subtle kinetic energy, ‘GLAMOUR Riddim’ is made just as much for DJ sets as it is for hedonistic, sweat-soaked nights that last until the sun rises.

TYGAPAW - GLAMOUR Riddim Ft. George Riley [fabric Originals]

A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Ross From Friends has released his full set recording from a recent Room 1 outing back in March. A slick hour-long expedition through varying energies, intricate rhythms, feel-good dance numbers, and what we know (because we were there) was something akin to expert crowd-control.

As a prelude to the upcoming Soul:ution Room Two takeover on Friday 16th May, label boss Marcus Intalex and one of Manchester’s most reliable renegade emcees, DRS, have bumped consciousness and put together this, their ‘Mid Mic Crisis’ mix. Regular sparring partners in clubs the world over, DRS’ trademark measured Mancuian flow rides perfectly atop on Intalex’s soulful selection with his baritone delivery sitting sweetly and filling out the dynamic range of the rolling selections which reportedly feature, in some form, material from DRS’ forthcoming second album, Mid Mic Crisis.

Basically it’s a glorious and specifically tailored 62 minute mixtape showcase of DRS’ potency as a host, an emcee and a vocalist. But it comes mixed by Intalex which more than hints at the level of quality it contains... two of Manchester's finest in sterling form.

Over the last few years, Bristol born, London based artist LCY has become one of the guiding lights in a scene of fans who like their club music deep, dark and with a heavy dose of rhythm. Releasing predominantly on their own label SZNS7N, LCY has transcended musical boundaries, taking from a wide range of musical influences to create their own fluid hybrid style that indulges the deepest desires of those who chase a visceral dancefloor response - uplifting a huge amount of unconventional producers alongside them in the process. Today marks the announcement of their first release on fabric Originals, the flagship label from global club imprint fabric, alongside a new single, ‘Bad Blood’.

LCY’s He Hymns EP, released digitally on 5th May and on vinyl 19th May via fabric Originals, is a dynamic exploration of LCY’s search for self within songs of worship, and how movement has provided a solace from inner turmoil. For the first time in our 25-year history, we are releasing a live solo recording by Craig Richards from the club. 

“This mix was recorded on the second of December at a Continuum party. I commenced just after five and finished at nine. The heady combination of nostalgia coupled with the past, the future and more importantly my daughter dancing next to me, resulted in a mix that I felt happy with. Historically, I have been very self-critical and have chosen not to release many mixes. Across nearly four hours this one seems to encapsulate the twenty five years of playing at fabric. In 1998 I was invited by Keith Reilly to play weekly at what was an imaginary nightclub. I had no idea that experience would continue for so many years. Playing vinyl on that sound system and mixer is highly exciting and a joy in itself. I am delighted that this has been my method of sonic communication and remain deeply grateful for my ongoing residency.” - Craig Richards

The dynamic and genre-spanning Irish producer and DJ @orla_cd has announced a new EP, Moonlight Crush, out on 25th April via our label, fabric Originals.

“A Howl’s A Howl” a single that was inspired by the historic and now-extinct native wolves in the UK and Ireland, and their prominence in Irish Mythology. The melodies build like a growl, haunting the track, a primal instinct keeping the listener moving.


The Moonlight Crush EP was created functionally to be experienced in a club or rave where Or:la feels most at home. The heavy rhythmic synths and organs are reminiscent of losing yourself on the dancefloor, the scent of smoke machines and sweat is thick in the air, lit only by the hint of a full moon.

As a multifaceted producer, DJ, and label owner, Or:la’s artistic journey has taken her from the tranquil and remote landscapes of Inch Island in Ireland to the vibrant nightlife scenes of some of the world’s most iconic venues.

Now based in Liverpool, Orlagh Dooley has become an integral part to the clubbing scene as a promoter and queer community builder pouring her heart and soul back into the place she found her own musical voice. Known for her diverse showcasing of genres, across UK bass, tribal house, deep house, breakbeat, acid, and 90’s techno, Or:la’s ability to draw connections between the subtleties of these genres is what sets her apart from the rest.

La Fleur, born Sanna La Fleur Engdahl, made the not-so-conventional transition from pharmacist to DJ.

Known for her melodic and deep approach to house and techno, drawing on years of experience on the dance floor and as a classically trained musician, she founded her own label Power Plant Records in 2010. 

"Since everything is about energy, love and relationships, I tried to tell a bit of that story with my mix. Premiere | Enzo Siragusa - Last E [Fabric Originals]

Fabric SELECTS is the fifth instalment of the series, this time with a selection of house and minimal groves from artists connected to the club. 

The vinyl was exclusively released on the 5th September, ahead of the full digital compilation which will have a more extensive tracklist of fabric friends and family on the 4th October.

Featuring the vocal work of Danielle Moore, the Bristolian producer Maxxi Soundsystem is just about to release his second 12" for Futureboogie, one of our favourite imprints. On it he presents two versions of the track 'Near Me' and new track 'In The Woods' but it's the 'Club Mix' of lead track that we've selected to present to you today, ahead of Maxxi's return to Room One this coming Saturday night (6th June). It's one of those deep and emotive tunes that fits perfectly into those post-3am immersion moments, gloriously carried by the type of soaring bassline and melody combo that we've come to love him for.

Ahead of what will be a supreme cast of selectors heading down to Room Two for the FABRICLIVE leg of our 16th Birthday celebratory weekend, we’ve linked with one of the night’s pivotal participators, the ever prolific Logistics and asked him if he could lend us a hand fuelling the hype by putting together a brand new promo mix. If you think of the UK’s best techno’s most prolific techno labels, Soma Quality are right there at the top. For the last 25 years Slam’s imprint has put out consistently killer music from some of 4/4’s most leading edge producers, with the likes of Funk D’Void, The Black Dog, Surgeon and Schatrax all making frequent appearances across the imprint’s back catalogue. 

One of their more recent signings is Rebekah, the Birmingham-born producer who first cut her teeth DJing in the late 90s. After a busy touring schedule early on in her career she became a part of Chris Liebing’s CLR label, before Soma picked her up for an EP in 2015. Earlier on this year, they also put out her debut LP Fear Paralysis, an album spanning the breadth of contemporary techno.

Rebekah’s next drop on Soma will be an EP of remixes from Fear Paralysis, with the likes of Slam and JoeFarr reworking some of the album’s best cuts. With their return to Farringdon just around the corner this Saturday, Slam sent us over their hard-hitting remix of Rebekah’s Code Black to premiere ahead of their appearance.
