La Fleur, born Sanna La Fleur Engdahl, made the not-so-conventional transition from pharmacist to DJ.

Known for her melodic and deep approach to house and techno, drawing on years of experience on the dance floor and as a classically trained musician, she founded her own label Power Plant Records in 2010. 

"Since everything is about energy, love and relationships, I tried to tell a bit of that story with my mix. I've included some of my favourite tracks at the moment as well as my single ‘Plastic Miami’, from my debut album ‘Väsen’, out on [PIAS] Électronique on 18th October. I'm so excited to get back to fabric for the show on the 27th.

fabric is very special to me. The first time I played there many moons ago, I played room 3. That gig actually played part in landing me a residency at another club, Watergate in Berlin. fabric played a big role and is a big part of underground club culture and I couldn't be more excited to get back, this time in Room 2 to deliver the message about eternal groove."

After an incredible CLOSE Tour in Paris, Glasgow and London we are leading into another crazy week, the annual Amsterdam ADE conference.  This year is a special one for me as I’ll be doing a special extended set on Friday October 19th  for Loveland's new All-Nighters concept at Warehouse Houthavens, which gives me plenty of time to weave in and out of lots of special sounds, frequencies and rhythms.  To get you through the week here is the recording of my BPM festival set from just a few weeks ago, which will surely get you in the mood and give you a taste of what to expect on Friday night!
