For the second batch of remixes of tracks from his Mod album, Acid Pauli drafted DJ Tennis and Jonathan Kaspar among others, but the remix that I connected with most is Lenka Toma's makeover of a track called "Life Polarizer." You'll hear the remix in Lenka's enchanting addition to the Afterhours series.

After shutting down the bot following an incredibly powerful and meaningful temple burn for our camp, many of you thought that was the end of our 2022 Burning Man. However, a few hours later, the bus appeared in deep playa with Nico Stojan at the helm, just in time for one last sunrise. Here's looking forward to many more surprises and unscheduled moments together in 2023.

"What an honor it was to return to the Robot Heart bus for the final sunrise set of last year’s Burn! 

Originally, the Robot Heart team wasn’t planning on playing music Monday morning, so I was super happy when they asked me to play the last sunrise on the playa.

When I arrived at camp early Monday, the RH crew was just waking up and the bus was still sleeping, but there was an excitement in the air - so often it is those unplanned experiences at Burning Man that create the most magic.

We drove out to deep playa in the dark and before long had gained a wonderful crowd, everyone coming together to dance away their final hours in the dust. People were exhausted, but also energized from their week in the desert and not ready to return to the default world.

It was a super chilled last sunrise set that I thoroughly enjoyed - an unexpected morning that turned out to be unforgettable!"

We continue our Berlin Mixtapes series with an exciting young artist that is taking the deep house world by storm.

Next up we welcome Swiss🇨🇭 DJ and producer King Ben who is probably the pure opposite of a late bloomer - more of an early starter. Ben grew up near Zurich in a home with a wide variety of influences: His mother is Turkish, his father, who is a gifted jazz musician is Swiss, plus both have Spanish and Polish roots. No wonder Ben started playing the piano at the age of nine and after watching a DJ play for the first time at the age of twelve, Ben was hooked. It didn't take long for Ben to get noticed with his first release on a small label in Germany, followed by further releases on Berlin labels such as Kindisch, Bar 25 Music, Ouïe Circle and others. Today his tracks are played by international stars appearing in DJ sets, radio shows and guest mixes worldwide with a release portfolio that now spans across Berlin, Switzerland and the US. We caught up with Ben to find out more.

Sunday Morning @ Panne Eichel

Due to a delay on my previous flight, I missed my connection from Amsterdam to Berlin. With only 10 minutes to spare, I ran like crazy to catch the only train route that would get me there before the gig: three trains, 7 hours. I left the hotel at 12 PM and arrived at Fusion at 4 AM.

After an hour of playing, a thunderstorm hit. Some left, some came into the DJ booth, and some still danced in the rain. The music never stopped.

Despite the exhausting journey, seeing true ravers in the rain cured all my tiredness and stress. It reminded me why I started this job. Thank you for this special moment, dancers and the universe. This memory will stay in my heart forever <3
