After four years since her last appearance on our platform, we're extremely happy to see one of our most popular faces in the techno and house panorama, Magda. Born in Poland and raised in Detroit, Magda's realm as an artist spans far beyond the typical role of DJ and producer, as she's also involved in music technology collaborations and events to producing premium Tequila - creating a truly unique, multifaceted expression of herself. When she's behind the decks, you'll never know what to expect: her wide selection spans from old-school house grooves into more hard and trippy electro tunes, all together into a formidable arsenal of electronic beats. Recently, Magda has produced and performed alongside T.B. Arthur as Blotter Trax, combining modular synthesis, live improvisation and rhythmic exploration. What's next? We don't know, but in the meantime, enjoy this 1-hour recording from the one and only Magda.

Valentino Kanzyani is undoubtedly someone who’s left an inimitable mark on the house and techno scene. A true sensation in his native Slovenia, alongside the likes of UMEK he helped put his small country on the electronic map almost three decades ago. In that time he’s lost none of his love or enthusiasm for music, and much like a fine wine, his DJ and production prowess is ageing very nicely indeed. Much of this explains Kanzyani’s longevity: alongside recent production highlights such as his remix of the classic Italo track ‘Spacer Woman’, he continues to play at some of Europe’s finest parties and travel the globe spreading his always-discerning and uncompromising sound. With all this considered, it was only natural that we’d have him back in the hotseat for our latest mix, which you can listen to here. With the next Toi Toi takeover for Room Three just a few sleeps away, today we're feeling privileged to be able to present a new and exclusive mix from a key member of the crew, Audio Werner.

This is a bit of a coup for us; the promo mix we're presenting today from Werner is a very rare thing indeed. To date the Hartchef Discos founder has only has only released two other podcasts on the spindled servers of the interweb over the last five years so, for us at least, this 60 minute selection carries an extra bit of weight of significance. Perhaps best known for his live sets over recent years (a craft that he is pretty advanced at as evident in his <a href="http://www.fabriclondon.com/blog/view/toi-toi-takeover-audio-werners-equipment-guide" target="_blank">equipment guide</a> from 2013), Audio Werner has actually been very much a prolific record collector and DJ since the ‘90s wielding a historical knowledge of four four cuts that he calls upon each time he takes to the decks. 

Right from the opening track this mix provides a listening experience that is at once engaging and yet frenetically playful. It's a pretty exciting pre-cursor to show exactly the kind of dancefloor experience Werner will be bringing alongside his Toi Toi cohorts Voigtmann, Lamache and Andrew J Gustav this coming weekend...
