Since then Bukem’s been playing his music out on a nearly weekly basis, taking Blade's blend of drum & bass out to crowds upon crowds of fans in countless territories. With labels like Liquid V and people like Fabio, Marky, Goldie and Bryan Gee all supporting his music, Blade has to date released three albums and numerous singles, pushing a complex sound that’s as comfortable veering from amen rollers, to soulful flecked, jazz influenced cuts and way out into the beyond. 

Ahead of joining us (and Bukem) in Room Two on 31st July, Blade has put together this mixtape to show you exactly how he does what he does and this morning it’s lit something of a spark in our sleepy office… I tell you.
