Here is a track I made in 2012 and that was meant to appear on Polymorphic Code but was not finished in time. The mix is not perfect and I could improve it but in order to respect the sound of Polymorphic Code I prefer to deliver it as it is/was. :)

I started writing this track in June 2014, a good break and a few tours after the last album, I saw the production process as an opportunity for me to explore a lot of different things at the same time, like guitars and some sound design techniques. 
The track has a strong melancholic or even nostalgic vibe to it, which is something that I can't seem to get rid of, but it still shows a lot more modernity and clarity in the production value. I guess it mostly sounds like post-rock meets IDM, but the mood is dark and unstable, and when you think there'll be hope you realize it's all chaos and fear. Its not a sad song, it's a song about fragility. 
I think it says a lot about myself, and about the people I meet, at the end of the day we are all watching the world growing into a globalized and complicated culture and we have to fight for what we believe as we all carry our own values and knowledge from the past.

Reportedly inspired by Caspa & Rusko’s FABRICLIVE mix, after crowd sourcing the money to make his debut album, Deliverance, Culprate’s also proved himself adept at making styles of music that isn’t really all that intended for dancefloors. He’s worked hard to open up his scope and his remit and that’s what makes him a rather interesting prospect. So ahead of his appearance in Room One this Friday (3rd April) we asked him to make us a mixtape that could perhaps reflect just a little piece of where his music tastes are at right now…

Solid Steel in association with Serato (17th June) Ivy Lab step up in Hour 2 following the release of their Fortuna EP on 20/20 LDN that features the vocal talents of Roses Gabor. Formed by producers Sabre, Stray and Halogenix, Ivy Lab are a North London collective that is part of a nascent movement of bass music refugees cross-pollinating UK sound system culture. We hear tracks from Alix Perez, Richie Brains, Sa Ra, Diemantle, Jon 1st and Max Richter. You can catch them at their launch party at Phonox, London on 20th June. They had this to say about their mix;
“Maybe a touch more energy than what we’re put together for previous Ivy lab studio mixes, and is perhaps closer to what you hear from us in our club sets these days ....but the genre pool is still  quintessentially 20/20 : bass­weight rowdy halftime, loose grooved lo­fi beats scene stuff, and jungle/footwork inspired 160 shit.”
