Sedef Adasï joins us for the very first instalment of our new podcast series. We’re inviting fabric artists, special guests, and rising talent alike to curate a specialist guest mix for us, dropping a new exclusive every few weeks – watch this space.  

HAMAM Nights founder and newly appointed Panorama Bar resident Sedef Adasï handles our inaugural edition, delivering a solid 60 minutes featuring tracks from Luke Vibert, Gerome Sportelli, Isaiah, Friedrich Ernstwith, DJ DISRESPECT and more, with an unreleased tune in there too.

Turkish born, Germany-based DJ Sedef Adasï is a genre-hopping specialist; known to blend anything from tough, psychedelic acid, accelerated techno, rough house and glistening, warping electro. Her mix for us, expertly glides through a rich selection of the above – readying us for her very first appearance – of many, we hope – in our main room next month.

Answer Code Request (@answercoderequest) has long since mastered the art of mixing up the physical the with cerebral. His broken, industrial-tinged techno drums are powerful enough to have made him a long-time Berghain resident, while his harmonic pads make a lasting impact on your mind. While releasing on the likes of Ostgut Ton, Dolly Deluxe and Monkeytown Records, he has also established his own ACR label and never fails to blur boundaries between sub-genres whenever he steps out with a new sound or set.

He pulls no punches on this week's mix which is a broad showcase of his ability to thread together many different strains of techno and beyond into a coherent whole. There's everything from transcendental and linear rollers to dubby bangers, twitchy rave anthems blissed out deep space minimalism via party starting piano house. It's fun and functional in equal measure and is the sound of a DJ very much in full flow.

When we first met Marie Montexier her style was shaped by her profoundly digging of UK breaks, doing so equally historically aware and forward thinking, resulting in head-turning performances even in her early days as a DJ. During the first years of her Warning residency and our friendship, she turned her attention to 90s trance sounds long before many others, and eventually became one of the most interesting techno DJs in the game. These days she's best known and loved for her power- and soulful house sets, although she does crack the techno whip from time to time. One of these occasions was her set for FVTVR in Paris last week, and we are happy to share the recording as the latest episode in the Warning Mix series. If you dig a little deeper, almost a hundred episodes back, you'll find her first contribution to the series, a still immensely beautiful recording from a Warning party - full of the aforementioned trance sound.
