This month's Nugcast comes from a very well-known face of the Parisian underground circuit. 

@alexisnamur is the co-founder of Beau Mot Plage, a Paris Based Dj crew focused on the art of digging, that has become over the years one of the main actors of the nugs movement in France.
Alexis’ taste and skills grew as the crew built its reputation and it gave him the opportunity to play in some of the best clubs in France.
His main influences range from US west coast house, UK tech house and Breakbeat, European early prog and trance to 2000 minimal.
He likes to get deep in his sets and move between moods but always keeps a groovy foundation. 
He also has been producing music for many years now and frequently sparkles his sets with his own productions and edits. This podcast is no exception.

RA+RE co-founder ABI has certainly put Paris on the map when it comes to upfront after parties. Being the driving force behind Breakfast Club and of course her female only label has placed ABI and her crew at the centre of a very exciting time for Paris, female artists, and electronic music as a whole. 

Shifting between a myriad of genres, styles, moods and emotions ABI couples raw hi hats, modular synths with bumpy basslines into an unheard pastiche of sound. For those that have caught her in action will know that there is no telling what grooves lie around the next corner but be sure that you will probably never have heard it before. We are obviously very happy to welcome ABI to our InSession series and we have a feeling this will be one you return to time and time again.

Who would have thought that 7 years from the first time he stepped into his first Toi Toi we would be having him as a guest for the mix series, welcome Nicky.  

Nicky's first party was Toi Toi's 3 years birthday where I had Craig Richards, Zip and Ben UFO all as secret guests. Quite a historical event. Watching this youngster's journey from then until now, one can only feel proud, his patience, care and dedication / hard work. 

Possessed with the biggest charisma, Nicky is a true and honest person, features that truly and directly reflect on him as an artist and the respect towards his craft, what you see is what you get, no faking, no pretending. His residency at the Lion & Lamb with the Outransa parties are evident to that, they have a nice community, a true pool of followers, just doing their thing, as it should be. 

Nicky reinstates my hope in the world of 'emerging new talents', most think that Djing starts or finishes on the decks and it is way beyond that too. 

The result for this series, an extremely elegant and carefully crafted set, thank you Nicky.
