Now in its 200th instalment, this Podcast has given voice to a diverse offering of global talents across the musical spectrum, from the democratic rhythms of zeitgeist appropriate techno and house through to more avant-garde synthwork.

This next guest has cast a large shadow over the technosphere, so large in fact, that no introduction could fully encompass the breadth of his achievements. But in brief: Ben Klock is a titan whose formative years were spent playing marathon mixes to the crowds at Berlin’s (then recently opened) Berghain. Off the back of his endurance sets and the club’s success he became a household name whose influence grew to be felt across the world, with a body of work that includes appearances at an exhaustive list of clubs and festivals, a number of hot releases on Ostgut Ton and an equally respected self-run label (Klockworks) to boot. On this second imprint, his own productions have repeatedly seen the light of day, alongside those from the likes of DVS1, Sterac, Stef Mendesidis and younger talents like Temudo and Vil & Cravo. The sound, ubiquitous as it is, will be familiar to anyone involved in the world of electronic music and there’s good reason for that: Klock’s deep and percussive work and ability to pull from a wide range of influences have earmarked him as a unique agent for the techno cause. Ahead of their appearance in the ProgRAM hosted Room Three this Friday at the annual RAM Xmas Party, the south east based production trio Slang Banger, have put together a cursory 60 minute mix that serves as the perfect introduction to their technique. It's also quite timely as it affords us the perfect opportunity to remind you that although advance tickets for the event have long sold out, there will be PLENTY of tickets available to purchase on the door. Concluding a strong 2014 on Commercial Suicide (with releases from The Invaderz, Calibre, Optiv & BTK and Mindscape), Klute has three new releases in December and a prelude of what's to come. 

With "The Beyond" out now on Drum&BassArena, his remix of Mindscape's "Dust Devil" followed on Commercial Suicide and this week, "Natural Observer" was released on Doc Scott's 'Future Beats Album'.
 
2015 starts with a new Commercial Suicide 12" on 23rd Jan for and a Metalheadz 12" soon after. This begins a string of releases to celebrate a milestone "20 Years of Klute", leading to a new album and selective retrospective sets.

To kick off the year, I’m excited to share my set recorded in August 2024 for the incredible Unfold party at @foldldn!

From the moment I stepped into the club, I was instantly embraced by its electric and welcoming vibe. The venue itself is mind-blowing, and the sound system brought the music to life in a way that was unreal.

What really made the night special was the inclusive, beautiful queer energy throughout the space. It was a true safe haven, where everyone could fully express themselves. Such a cool evening! ❤️
