"Que reste-t-il de nos amours ?" What Remains of Our Loves?  This song was first recorded by the French female singer Lucienne Boyer in 1942. Music by Léo Chauliac and Charles Trenet and lyrics by Charles Trenet. A version of the song with English lyrics entitled "I Wish You Love" is recognizable by the opening line "I wish you bluebirds, in the spring".

I am happy and grateful to present a new music project from Loops And Bridges : Doors And Windows .
Arne Hiorth and me are writing music together as before , and some of our new songs are presented on this album .
But in addition to this we have the pleasure of including some musicians and composer/friends from the Soundcloud community.

What a great tool Soundcloud has been for me , what an excellent tool for music-collaborations , where distance does not exist .
The album is produced , mixed and mastered by Arne Hiorth , and Arne is also doing all trumpet on this album.

The 1940 Broadway show "Higher and Higher" introduced the Rodgers and Hart tune, “It Never Entered My Mind.” The melody is almost transparent in its simplicity and, in the vacuum of rudimentary harmonies found in standard versions by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, only the lyrics keep it alive. But what lyrics. Brought up to date with modern harmonies and instrumentation, this is a this love song of unheeded warning.

"Body and Soul" is a jazz standard written in 1930 with lyrics by Edward Heyman, Robert Sour and Frank Eyton; and music by Johnny Green.

"Body and Soul" was written in New York City for the British actress and singer Gertrude Lawrence, who introduced it to London audiences. Published in England, it was first performed in the United States by Libby Holman in the 1930 Broadway revue Three's a Crowd. In Britain, the orchestras of Jack Hylton and Ambrose recorded the ballad first in the same week in February 1930. In the United States,[1] the tune grew quickly in popularity, and by the end of 1930 at least 11 American bands had recorded it.[1] Louis Armstrong was the first jazz musician to record "Body and Soul", in October 1930,[2] but it was Paul Whiteman and Jack Fulton who popularized it in United States.

"Body and Soul" remains a jazz standard, with hundreds of versions performed and recorded by dozens of artists.

ELDMESSA paints a story of the Laki eruption on Iceland in 1783, one of the greatest volcanic outbreaks in the history of man. 

It explores the power of nature, and the mysteries of life, connected to reverend Jón Steingrímsson. He became a legendary figure among Icelanders, after an inexplicable event that happened during this period of time. Since then, he has been known as ”the pastor of fire”, and the event as ”Eldmessa – the mass of fire.”

"Speak Low" (1943) is a popular song composed by Kurt Weill, with lyrics by Ogden Nash. It was introduced by Mary Martin and Kenny Baker in the Broadway musical One Touch of Venus (1943). The 1944 hit single was by Guy Lombardo and his orchestra, with vocal by Billy Leach. The tune is a jazz standard that has been widely recorded. The opening line is a (slight mis)quotation from William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing (1600), where it is spoken by Don Pedro.
