New weapon in our digital army this time provided by Aine veteran Endplate. This spanish producer is one the hidden treasures of local underground scene, and his skills in the studio are nothing but awesome. We have teamed up with him for this extended Ep made of six scientific techno tracks, well seasoned, carefully crafted and timeless.

Promotion is an obsessive track, with a detailed structure built with a few fundamental elements that come and go wisely in the arrangement.

Tired from Early shows electric tension from the beginning, with sub frequencies boosting the air while continuous synth lines and digital percussions lie on top. Again a multi layered intelligently arranged tool.

At school remids us the best minimal synth works from the likes of Mike Parker, dubbed out delayed lines, subtle kicks and a lot of liquidness.

Gemini goes into solid territories with percussive elements as starring, white noise washes, delayed lines and complexity.

They call it a mine is a pure drill, distorsion, obsessive broken drums and drones in an industrial floor destroyer.

Alteration of the order removes any superficial element and keeps the pace with heavy sub bass action and resonant sweep, and excelent track for building up a set.

A complex and mature work that shows techno is not just teenage noise and social media posts, is also about real music.

German imprint ODD / EVEN is a project that began in 2014 by Andre Kronert and that has a solid standing with artist appearances by firm favourites such as Jonas Kopp, Markus Suckut, Johannes Heil, Shlomi Aber, and many more.

The latest Endless EP welcomes Barcelona-based Pfirter for his first full package following a remix on the launch release. A five track selection has definitely been worth the wait and he supplies some trippy and cerebral cuts.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “Endless” with a punchy and funky rhythm at its core. The Detroit inspired, stuttering chords are met with ghostly, machine-like textures of weird and wonderful electronic noise, all the while it powers through with driving, analogue, vigour.

Fabrizio Rat - Clouds Inside EP [ASR 050]

Finnish “Absence of Facts” label head Orion debuts on Naked Lunch with a strong three track EP with remixes from Vinicius Honorio and DJ Dextro.

The three originals explore the various branches of techno: “Loweb” is a moody looping melodic tool while “Boreos” is a straight-forward bass heavy club track. The EP’s title track “Gashadokuro” lives up to its name - borrowing its name from the mythical creatures in Japanese mythology the broken beat techno track is full of twists and groove.

Vinicius Honorio from the ARTS  & Modularz  fame takes the breakbeat track Gashadokuro and turns it into a heavy 4/4 techno tool with his signature funk. DJ Dextro, recently debuted on Gynoid Audio, brings Gashadokuro to more hypnotic, darker direction.

Gashadokuro EP is out on Naked Lunch on December 2nd.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from us at 6AM! For this week's Global Vibe Radio episode, we visit the sonic techno output of Sept.

Behind the name Sept stands a Warsaw-based DJ, producer and live act whose project began back in 2015.

From the very begging Sept has been involved with running A&R for Berlin-based record label Voxnox Records. As a DJ, he has performed in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden and far-off Colombia. This, of course, on top of playing all the most important venues and festivals in his home country of Poland, as well as working as a promoter of more than 30 techno events in Poland.

Sept's releases have found a home on CLERGY, Prodigal Son, Flash Recordings, Sonntag Morgen, Triple Vision and of course Voxnox Records. His music has not only been played by techno heavyweights throughout the world, but has also received remix treatment by names such as Headless Horseman, VTSS, JoeFarr, Michal Jablonski, Pfirter and Setaoc Mass.

Fabrizio Rat - La Machina


« Take a piano, the classic and romantic instrument par excellence, and project it into the hypnotic and powerful soundscape of techno music ». 

Following two Eps, ‘’La Machina’’ (Optimo Trax) and ‘’Technopiano’’ (Involve), Fabrizio releases his first album of hybrid techno, with an innovative sound palette. The Pianist combines the acoustic sounds and weird harmonics of his prepared piano with the acid loops of the TB-303 and the beats of the TR-909.
« I want to play like these machines that I love, to translate their exactitude and imperfection with my human nature, to open up new paths, and play with our errors. The repetition process let me enter another dimension, a state of trance where the physical effort disappear, and control is not necessary any more, I just need to be carried away by sound, with a bit of luck. »

Unsurprisingly, it’s in front of the dancefloor, in clubs or festivals, that Fabrizio plays his live sets. With the right hand he plays repetitive rhythmical patterns while the left one handles the machines and manipulates the piano strings.
His goal is to reach « the trance, to project on the dancers the hypnotic state of my right hand moving on the piano ».
