Making his way through the Amsterdam nightlife, where this graduate math student witnessed the euphoria in famous clubs like RoXY and Escape, he discovered his love for techno music. Winning a DJ contest held by dance magazine Bassic Groove he caught a wave, getting to play renowned events like Dance Valley and the FFWD Dance Parade.

Este fenómeno del techno holandés, que lleva muchos años trabajando en su oficio, ya estaba allí en sus comienzos. Abriéndose paso por la vida nocturna de Ámsterdam, donde este estudiante de matemáticas graduado fue testigo de la euforia en clubes famosos como RoXY y Escape, descubrió su amor por la música techno. Gheran is a renowned DJ and producer from the city of Medellin, born in Envigado in 1998; He began his musical journey in 2013 playing for his friends and opening spaces in clubs in the city. 

In the journey of almost a decade as a DJ he has had the opportunity to share in several important stages of the paisa scene, such as Freedom, Dreaming and Village Festival. He has also shared the stage with international DJs such as Ben Sims, Surgeon Antigone, Dimi Angelis, Samuel I Session, Alexander Kowalski, Rene Wise, among others.

He is currently owner of the brand Utopia Medellin and belongs to the Technocity Collective Medellin & Kalchno, resident of Terraza Club.

« Take a piano, the classic and romantic instrument par excellence, and project it into the hypnotic and powerful soundscape of techno music ». 

Following two Eps, ‘’La Machina’’ (Optimo Trax) and ‘’Technopiano’’ (Involve), Fabrizio releases his first album of hybrid techno, with an innovative sound palette. The Pianist combines the acoustic sounds and weird harmonics of his prepared piano with the acid loops of the TB-303 and the beats of the TR-909.
« I want to play like these machines that I love, to translate their exactitude and imperfection with my human nature, to open up new paths, and play with our errors. The repetition process let me enter another dimension, a state of trance where the physical effort disappear, and control is not necessary any more, I just need to be carried away by sound, with a bit of luck. »

Unsurprisingly, it’s in front of the dancefloor, in clubs or festivals, that Fabrizio plays his live sets. With the right hand he plays repetitive rhythmical patterns while the left one handles the machines and manipulates the piano strings.
His goal is to reach « the trance, to project on the dancers the hypnotic state of my right hand moving on the piano ».
