They're carving up this country 
as they pocket all their spoils.
200 years to get here
betraying past generations toils.

as this melting pot
begins to boil.

Since when did we become the ones 
that look down on success.
Is it really any wonder
everything is such a mess?
Its time we seek the promise
and stop settling
for what is less.

is bursting at the seams
and as long as those who mean us harm 
continue with their schemes,
then those things that made US great
will be nothing more
than a distant dream.

Its time for them to hear it clear
with one resounding voice
and to finally stand united while 
we still have got a choice.
Its still Freedom I hear ring
above all their noise.

They see our Constitution
as something out of date.
They talk of freedom of speech
while they stifle all debate.
It's time to see the hypocrites
for what they are,
before it gets too late.




The press who's supposed to inform us
have stopped seeking what is true
while they run their interference
with no facts to misconstrue.
They've long since sold their souls
from the lies
they freely spew.
