Methxx04 takes an international direction and sees the Metalheadz debuts of  ArpXP & Reza hailing from Italy and Poland respectively.

”No Control” by Arp XP & Reza featuring Kayka is deep, dark and brooding. Rolling beats and super low sub are laced with Kayka's haunting vocal to devastating effect. A favourite of Lenzman's and featuring in many of his sets, this is a highly anticipated release and one that's guaranteed to get heads nodding and feet moving.

”Unknown Feeling” by Reza is a dubbed out minimal journey into drum and bass. Melancholy chords combine with snippets of vocal and a sparse break, which are all underpinned by the weightiest of basslines. With two tracks of this quality it's no wonder this release is a double A side.

Collectively the two tracks make for a killer release - yet another gem in the much sought after METHXX catalogue

BrandNewTrumpets returns to Diffrent with the 'You' EP — four sublime cuts that journey between her expansive style and club-geared drum workouts.
While previous efforts have seen BrandNewTrumpets weave narratives about other people and their struggles into her work, the ‘You’ EP tells the story of her own production evolution. The release finds the Croydon artist challenging herself with new techniques to push her artistry to new heights.

Opening on ‘This Is For You’, a gorgeous eight-minute love letter to her partner, the EP immediately showcases BrandNewTrumpets’ desire to indulge herself in making beautiful and deeply personal music.
‘Changed For You’ sees her turn towards the dancefloor — a reflection of her development as a DJ — delivering punchy, propulsive bass and tough drum work without losing any of the cinematic wonder she’s become known for. 
‘To You’ continues down the club-ready route, but leans into the kind of cosmic rolling sound of labels like Good Looking Records and Soul:r.
And final track ‘Only You’ sees BrandNewTrumpets’ vocals — which are present throughout the EP — layered in unfathomable numbers to create a magnificently lush world for her spritely percussion to play in.

It’s another incredible effort that further solidifies BrandNewTrumpets’ epic signature sound, while showcasing just how far she’s come over the past five years.

What can I say, I suffer from musical Schizophrenia. I tend to ignore categories and genres and only care for vibe and tempo. So again, here we have another mix that combines 3 different genres and sub-genres and comes up with a fusion that may or may not work. I hope you either hate it or love it. Just don’t be indifferent or neutral because it means I have failed in stirring something/ anything inside of you. Mediocrity and creativity are not meant to live side by side. 

The roster of producers/ DJ’s featured in this collection range from world renowned and big names to those who are creating some incredible work from a notebook computer and minimal studio set up at the corner of their tiny bedrooms. As always, no attention is paid to how old or how new a tune is. The only thing that matters is the overall flow. Bonus Pack file has track listing and cover and sleeve artwork.
