Nostalgia is a thing that influences our cultural creation and consumption today, but nostalgia is also how Drum & Bass finds a way to reinvigorate itself, and M-zine expresses this feeling immaculately. M-zine’s work is meticulous and transportive. He is an artist plucked from the deepest depths of Drum & bass music, and taking influences from genres like Techno, Hip-Hop, Soul & Funk, M-zine has carved his own niche in the Drum & Bass scene.
M-zine started his journey as a Drum & Bass producer in 2011 with Proximity Recordings with two funky releases in Peristaltic and Riddance. His first Vinyl release came in 2012 with Swiss-based label Demand Records. Endings, a hypnotic low-end roller was heavily supported by some of the heavyweights in Drum & Bass like Doc Scott, Skeptical, Spinline, and Loxy.
M-zine’s watershed moment as producer came in 2013; when he saw his music being released on labels like Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings, and Warm Communications, with a special mention by Tom Yorke’s “Pissing In The Wind On A Monday” for his release on 31 Recordings.
With big releases on labels like Dispatch Recordings, Commercial Suicide, Critical Recordings, 31 Records, a thumping release with Belgian trio Bredren that topped the Beatport charts, one LP plus several EPs and singles on Sofa Sound Bristol, and an EP coming out on Subtitles Recordings, M-zine has comfortably registered his name as one of the finest producers in Drum & Bass.

M-zine travaille de façon méticuleuse et expressive. C'est un artiste qui vient des profondeurs de la Drum & Bass, et en puise ses influences dans divers genres tels que la Techno, le Hip-Hop, la Soul et le Funk, il s'est taillé une niche bien à lui dans la scène Drum & Bass.
M-zine a commencé son parcours de producteur de Drum & Bass en 2011 sur Proximity Recordings avec deux sorties funky ; Peristaltic et Riddance. Avec de grosses sorties chez Dispatch Recordings, Commercial Suicide, Critical Recordings, 31 Records, une sortie fracassante avec le trio belge Bredren qui atteint le sommet des charts Beatport, un LP ainsi que plusieurs EPs et singles chez Sofa Sound Bristol, et un EP à venir chez Subtitles Recordings, M-zine a confortablement inscrit son nom comme l'un des plus fins producteurs en matière de Drum & Bass.

Met grote releases op labels als Dispatch Recordings, Commercial Suicide, Critical Recordings, 31 Records, een dreunende release met het Belgische trio Bredren die de top van de Beatport charts haalde, een LP en meerdere EP's en singles op Sofa Sound Bristol, en een EP die uitkomt op Subtitles Recordings, heeft M-zine met gemak zijn naam geregistreerd als een van de fijnste producers in Drum & Bass.
