Pleased to say that this 120 minutes defined a generation. 1999 was such a golden year for Trance music and many people reference this very set as opening their eyes to the power of Trance.

It's hard to believe how groundbreaking and well-polished some of the tunes that I selected and played out, really were!! This mix still sounds timeless judging by today's standards and features tunes from the likes of Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, long before they became household names. It will appeal to all those who love it fresh, raw and pumping!!! Ladies and gentlemen, 20 years ago to this month, I created my second Essential Mix (of four) which was broadcast on BBC Radio 1.

Hello again, for the final time this year.

Presenting the first of two holiday treats for you (the second will be the GDJB Classic Showcase on Thursday) - a special three hour journey for Afterhours.fm's End of Year Countdown celebrations.

Having a three hour timeframe allowed me the opportunity to really express the journey aspect of a set, being able to build things up slowly from the beginning. After about a month of digging, finding, compiling and editing, I managed to get the set completed just this weekend.

It is a mix I hope that you will enjoy and appreciate for some time to come, and for those of you not attending a gig on New Year's Eve, it can maybe be your audio of choice to welcome 2014.

Big thanks as always to the AH.fm crew for allowing me to contribute to this yearly event, think it's the 8th year in a row now that I've been involved. And as always, a huge appreciation to all of you for the love and support throughout the year.

DUALITY: An album in two parts.

Since day one, I have always struggled with how to present myself. Am I a dance music producer who does downtempo / experimental albums? Or is it the other way around? My first album had a bit of both, which is why I have referred to ‘Duality’ as the true followup to ‘It’s Artificial’. Part One focuses on the downtempo side of things with hints of indie-pop, while Part Two explores my progressive and trance roots. This is by far my most raw and honest work. On June 1, we released two songs from each part: “Equal” with Asbjørn (Official), and “Midnight” with Alison May.

I did not do this album alone. These are more than just “features,” these are collaborations. Together, we have woven a massive journey that is deeply personal, and showcases our most vulnerable selves. Many of these fabulous collaborators are also LGBT+, and I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful musical family.

‘Duality Part One’ and ‘Duality Part Two’ are both out now.

This was the first ever show I played in Argentina. It was my birthday and at the end of my set they brought out a birthday club and the whole crowd sang happy birthday to me. Amazing show / amazing moment and the beginning of a long, deep and passionate relationship with the Argentinian clubbers. There is nowhere better to play in the world....

Here is the second installment to my Gatecrasher Experiences series. This series will be focusing on the tracks that were one of the clubbing  pioneers of the best era of dance music, known as  Gatecrasher. In this second episode in the series, I have focused more on a peak time style mix, including some of the best known tracks of Classic Trance, which also have been played at Gatecrasher events or been featured on the brand's compilations throughout the years. The dream began with but a mere road sign pointing to the M1 motorway enroute for the highly anticipated Gatecrasher Reunion. Gatecrasher had been absent in Sheffield for just under a decade, ever since the tragic demise of the Republic (often referred to as Gatecrasher's spiritual home) burnt down in July 2007.  

The Reunion was such a significant step forward for Gatecrasher as a brand and its loyal fanbase. Everything had to be executed to perfection and not only would the lion roar once again, stronger than ever but also it would lay the foundations for future. Careful time and planning had gone into bringing the ultimate lineup and satisfying the hunger for the most cutting edge Trance!

Attendance for the Gatecrasher REBOOTED Arena was in full force with a plethora of the biggest movers and shakers for 2016 from the likes of Solarstone, Jordan Suckley, Indecent Noise, Factor B's UK Debut, Neptune Project, Danny Stubbs and of course, myself. Overall it was a truly amazing night with crowd, music and production being off the scale! My set consisted of numerous exclusives and one of them was specifically reworked with the Gatecrasher Reunion in mind. Coast 2 Coast - Home was always one of my personal favourites and what a tune to signify Gatecrasher's long awaited return to Sheffield.

Absolutely delighted with the turnout at Gatecrasher last night. Many thanks go out to everybody who were a part of this momentous event and made their way over to Sheffield in order to contribute to yet another truly unforgettable experience!!

Well here it is, my highly anticipated Gatecrasher Wet set from Boxing Day. I stayed faithful to one that I created to reinforce the sound of the brand and one that I am still very proud of today - the Gatecrasher Wet album. The whole atmosphere and vibe on that night was spectacular with the music and production values at optimum level as well as an appreciative crowd who were treated to a full spectrum of lasers. Hard to imagine that these tunes are over 17 years old as they still sound so fresh and crisp, having stood the test of time. Hope you all have fun listening to these tunes as I did playing these out and making history 🙂.
