Joachim Spieth presents his new project, "Retrace," on his eminent electronic label, Affin.
Dub influences and cooling, ambient electronics blend to create complex, aqueous soundscapes. The seven track album reveals detailed textures and crystalized melodies that captivate the imagination. Like glittering drops of water, the sound elements combine to slowly filter through sonic biotopes until they extend across the spectrum in full frequency.
In “Retrace”, Spieth offers a fresh perspective on ambient soundscapes while retaining the signature elements that have come to define his musical identity. “Retrace” unfolds with meticulous precision, leading listeners through a labyrinth of sonic possibilities where every sound and texture serves a purpose in the narrative.

For the past decade, Red Noise (@red_noisedj) has been the brainchild of Tomás González—sound engineer, DJ, and key figure in Medellín’s electronic scene. His deep, atmospheric sound moves fluidly between Techno and Ambient, seamlessly blending breakbeat, groove, and rich sonic textures to craft a signature style that has made him a reference within his genre. 

Founder of 1024 Records and a core member of Medellín’s Rouge collective, Tomás is deeply involved in the city's underground scene. Beyond his work as an artist, he also shares his knowledge as an educator at spaces like El Club De Audio, helping shape the next wave of sound designers and electronic music producers.

His music has landed on labels like Inner Tension, Orbitando, From A Lost Place, Seis, KVLTÖ (Mexico), and Indefinite Pitch (China). On stage, he’s performed at some of the country’s most renowned venues and festivals, including Tunnel, Garden, Elíptica, Freedom (2022 & 2023), Auditum, and EON. Along the way, he’s played alongside Mike Parker, Blazej Malinowski, Kwartz, Wata Igarashi, Polygonia, Luigi Tozzi, Artefakt, Anthony Linell, among others, solidifying his presence in the electronic music scene.

Neutralität bedeutet für mich, die Dinge aus der Perspektive von außen betrachten zu können, wie die Vögel in den Bäumen... Dazu gehört sich von Meinungen, Gruppierungen, Ideologien und vor allem natürlich auch vom eigenen über Jahre gespeicherten Gedanken-Konstrukt nicht sofort und unüberlegt leiten zu lassen, sondern der Beobachter, Zuhörer und der Wahrnehmende zu sein.
Neutralität bedeutet für mich, zu wissen das wir alle nichts wissen, nur einen Hauch im Vergleich zum Universum. 
Neutralität bedeutet sich in der Mitte zu befinden, zu sehen, zu fühlen und zu verstehen..... 
Zu verstehen und zu akzeptieren das es immer zwei Seiten geben wird, "je nach Betrachtung des einzelnen" entweder die Böse oder Gute Seite. Nur....? wer hat nun recht?...... Wer kann schon genau sagen welche Seite die richtige ist, wenn beides, gut oder schlecht nicht ohne einander funktioniert. 
Neutralität bedeutet für mich, sehen zu können das, je mehr SPANNUNGEN und ENERGIEN zwischen zwei Seiten, die aufeinander prasseln entstehen, desto heftiger der Knall am Ende......

“Submerged” explore les profondeurs de la techno hypnotique — une plongée lente et immersive à travers les textures, les rythmes et les ombres. Porté par une pulsation minimale et des sub-basses enveloppantes, le morceau se déploie comme une méditation en mouvement. Chaque son évolue, disparaît et renaît dans un flux continu, créant une sensation d’apesanteur sonore. Une œuvre taillée pour les sets nocturnes et les voyages intérieurs.

Biography
Empirical as a hard sip spilling from a discharged battery. There is always a nihilistic fetish in these youngsters dealing with technology. Stefano Martino, aka R A S H, is never hiding this darkest side in his composition. His machinery becomes a ritual object within which his human state becomes an algorithmic begging of change making its appearance at warm 50 hertz complacency.

His sound exploration is elaborated through decadent, post-industrial soundscapes inscribing the full failure of a consumer society which noise becomes an evidence whilst its awareness is modelled, reworked within a dystopian hexavalent chromium taste, blended into the future.
