Over the years he has shaped his skills playing live music, mainly improvised with its modular synths and drum machines for different venues on its local scene.

This podcast is inspired by politics and police blunders against ordinary people blending heavy distorted rhythms tracks and textural sounds for maximum energy against the oppressors.

Experiments with Extremities #15

On this episode of F.B.I. Pathology Report we auditory explore the case of Richard Francis Cottingham (born November 25, 1946), better known as the Torso Killer, the New York Ripper & the Times Square Killer. He was convicted for the murder of 18 young women & girls between 1967-1980.

On 2009 (decades after his 5 convictions) he told a journalist that he at least killed 80 women in various regions of U.S., baptizing those murders as "perfect murders", while he personally claims he has killed as many as 100,  by taking them to a remote location, binding, torturing, gagging & stabbing before killing them by asphyxiation or strangulation.

Cottingham is most famously known for the bizarre crime scenes he'd leave behind, from the mutilated bodies of victims, removal of breasts, severed heads and hands to preventing their identification, to the arson of an apartment (along with a body of a victim in it) as part of his attempt to get rid of evidence.

Murders that received further attention (and led to his arrest & conviction) were those who happened across the area of Times Square, which in the 70s was popular for its peep shows & live sex acts.

M.I.A. was created by Raphael Kervella in 2019 in the filthy streets of Brest, west of France. After a first tape "Multiracial Mess" in 2020, followed a series of tapes and CDs including two splits with Bizarre Uproar and a tape "I Love You" on Phage Tapes. It addresses the madness of modern society, mental illness & more. More recently love or more personal topics have been attached. M.I.A. will always be a vehicle towards the neurosis of its creator.

Julio Tornero started with electronic music in 2012, between projects like Polígono Hindú Astral, Tornische or Zotal or his own aka, Tornero, Dark Tibet, or Madrelarva, he has accumulated references in labels from all over the globe, veering from the icy ambient to the electronic more focused on the dancefloor, passing through kraut and the most cosmic sounds close to electro.

Femur, CitiTrax, Detriti, Clandestine Records, Intellictronic Bubble or Black Artifact, to name a few, have been the launching labels for his material. On this occasion, and as his second reference on Fill-lex, after 6 years since his first Lp cassette on the label, he brings us a machine-like album of rough techno, rhythmic noise and corrosive sonorities, thus updating his sound palette and mutating into something different from his previous releases. An energetic and forceful album but at the same time risky, as it incorporates harsh elements to the classic acid bases of his live sets.
