Le Chocolat Noir aka Fiume as well as Honored Matres hailing from the central Croatian ex-industrial town of Sisak, releases on labels She Lost Kontrol, Panzerkreuz, Frigio, Gooiland Elektro, Return To Disorder, and Kraftjerkz, just to name a few. 

Noir synths, from noise and experimental to wave and EBM, electro, and much more are all part of his releases and DJ sets. Member of Zagreb's bRave collective and resident DJ of Ljubljana's Elektroliza, LCN also hosts a radio show Disco Panonia on Intergalactic FM.

The name Betamax stands for quality electronic music and analog warmth in micro/minimal/lo-fi/tech house/breakbeat and electro genres. The show itself is a mix series to represent groovy, funky, and rough sounds to show a more creative and experimental approach to dance music and @Play4n4.

BETAMAX061 | Le Chocolat Noir

Closing off the summer with a mix from the up-and-coming Milanese project Bianco Negativo. Claudio and Davide have been building their discography over the last year with releases on labels such as their own Marguerite Records and Warsaw-based Syntetyk. Musically, the duo lies somewhere on the border between dark synth-wave and EBM, but their second label, Tocca Il Futuro, showcases their affinity for the eclectic. A day later due to the network outage, but just as excited to welcome Berlin-based producer and DJ Tans to the series. He heads the excellent Sons of Traders label together with his cousin Mike Tansella jr. They are also a production duo that operates under the same name with releases on Gravitational Waves, Rengaine, LA-based The Black Lodge run by Kosmik, as well as an upcoming release on the stellar Frigio Records. As Tans, you can check out his work on Squirrels On Film, Diffuse Reality, Seagrave, with a recent release on Dead Channel Records that is a favorite among many selectors. He also produces music as Hannibal III (GRTW) and The Sympathizer on XCPT. He's prepared a special selection that brings together gritty old-school breaks, proto-like electro, and raw funky electronics. Lock in!

The third episode, dedicated to the Budapest-based record label "Dalmata Daniel", is mixed by DDSS (aka Dalmata Daniel Soundsystem).

Dalmata Daniel label was founded on a summer night in 2015 by three friends, Dalmata Gergő, Daniel Jani and Max Sinclair. The first vinyl came out in 2016 by DJ Overdose and with two Hungarian local artists' remixes, S Olbricht and 12z. So far, it has been followed by 34 releases, mixed on physically and/or digitally only in a few series of EPs, Albums, Splits, Compilations, etc.
