Duane Pitre's Varolii Patterns was made with an eight-voice synthesizer, tuned in Just Intonation. These consonant pieces explore shifting polyrhythms that slip in and out of rhythmic focus and "Common Rhythmic Pulses" that carry over as the pattern evolves within a piece.

Artist statement:

"While experimenting with microtonal electronics for a piece I was writing for Zinc & Copper, which would eventually be titled Pons, I came across a process-based technique that I was quite keen on. Although I wouldn't use this technique on the Zinc & Copper piece, I would later implement said process to make up some of the electronics on Omniscient Voices. During this time I carried out dozens and dozens of instances of this process and recorded them all. Varolii Patterns is composed of a small collection of these recorded takes, ones I felt were stand-alone pieces on their own and that worked well together as a whole."

Enerhomor is an experimental project and sound performance by @umms-biaus, an electronic musician from Kyïv. This project evolved from field recordings, mainly crunchy, electrical sounds partly recorded at the beginning of the war at the outskirts of Kyïv, which form an overall image of cruel attacks aiming to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure. Out on 24 of March on @mystictrax.

New one straight from Poznań, straight from 𝗧𝗕𝗛 ♡˙ᵕ˙♡

Producer, selector, and founder of the independent club initiative @slinaslinaslina, as well as co-founder of the K8 collective, whose broad activities share one common goal: introducing the local community to new and unexplored areas of electronic music. His primary musical inspiration comes from texture, often found in percussion-driven sounds. In his latest mix TBH freely showcases his recent obsessions, with the central theme being what he calls “an attempt to control chaos.” The recording is full of diverse textures, sonic surprises, abrupt shifts, and a wide range of moods and tempos. Expect to hear leftfield bass, polyrhythmic techno, UK dubstep, and sounds from the global south.
