Working as a visual artist and writer, Puck Schot once felt the need to express a more masculine voice within her poetry. Curious towards electronic music, she started making experiments around 2019 with the Korg MS-20, poetry on violence and distorted drum samples as Acidic Male. In that same year she started collaborating with RJM Vanderheyden as 'Vot'ress' as well, combining harsh noise with nature sounds and Shakespearean texts. Since then, she has a high interest in industrial sounds, amelodic hauntologies, nostalgic drums and more broken experiments. Her DJ-sets are a reflection of her rhizomatic gathering of songs by artists that inspire her at the moment of making the set.

Dez Williams' second Woodwork outing further frames his imaginative productions within a wide conceptual space encompassing several styles of deep electronic underground music. Expressive noisy synth riffs and soaked stabs lace their way through a series of jams which pull equally from modern and vintage varieties of techno, acid, house and electro. The resulting sound and feeling averts description or definition, yet there remains an absolute sense of lineage and vague familiarity in the midst of this set of explorative works. 

From the quirky acid bass and melodic bleeps of the title track, 'hexentrik', through dub meditations invoked by 'screenshot', with the raw machine sound of 'formit' and enlightened pattern play central to 'nowtt', the EP winds its way toward the eastern pentatonic 'ohaguro' and the dramatic interstellar acid, electro-techno afterburner 'entangled data banks'. This collection offers up several mix-ready individual flavours that also serve an engaging chronicle heard start to finish.

Simas Petkevičius aka SMPL SMPL is from Vilnius, Lithuania. A young artist schooled to master saxophone according to strict classical education by globally renowned lecturers has already proven his skills in numerous competitions although the discovery of a passion for electronic music production now seems to have taken over a large part of his life.
As his curiosity for music began to grow beyond classical arrangements he followed his journey through different genres. Avant-garde, Jazz as well as Contemporary Classical music have made a big influence, while electronic music culture is what fuels the inspiration.
Characterized by free-form improvisation, sound experiments, and the integration of acoustic instrument timbres into dance music genres.

Молодой артист Simas Petkevičius, получивший образование по саксофону в соответствии со строгим классическим образованием у всемирно известных лекторов, уже доказал свое мастерство на многочисленных конкурсах, хотя страсть к производству электронной музыки, похоже, теперь заняла большую часть его жизни.
По мере того как его любопытство к музыке начало выходить за рамки классических аранжировок, он продолжил свое путешествие по разным жанрам. Авангард, джаз, а также современная классическая музыка оказали большое влияние, а электронная музыка является источником его вдохновения.
